light failed in my opinion for 3 reasons

the 1st is he killed lind l tailor which was unnecessary

the 2nd he used file restricted to police use only which meant kira was someone connected to the police

and the 3rd is he killed people with heart attacks he should've used accidents for everyone......eg car crash, prison riots that would make the deaths seem realistically possible and instead of looking for someone that can kill through magical powers the police would look for someone/a group who is paying people to kill criminals...or something like that (which would of course be non existent)

killing all the criminals with heart attacks light was pretty stupid as all the evidence suggested that deaths were being taken out by supernatural being

some of you might say that this was the only way people would do as light wanted but this is untrue as fear of being killed would exist either way

please give your thoughts on the 3rd reason ....you can give on the other 2 if you feel like it

His big, fat Ego.

Why did he killed Lind L. Taylor? To prove himself and the rest what he was capable of. Why did he used those files? To defy L. Why did he killed everyone with heart attacks? So that the people would know that they were being "protected" and that "justice" would apply to those who did wrong things. In his own words, he saw himself as a god, which is clearly a sing of insanity and proves that he did not care for a better world, that's just a mask to those who follow him and a lie to himself: he calls himself a saviour when all he wants is power. And power makes you blind.

LoL, sorry, I get like that when I talk about the Kira situation, but to me the best thing he could do with such a weapon as a Death Note is burning it.
