After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Does anyone really miss Elfen Lied? I do it was a great series. I just wish they would make a 2nd season. I love really bloody and gorey anime so i guess this is the place to talk about what animes are bloodest and goreyest. Excuse my spelling btw.

I do. I really wish there were more episodes to Elfen Lied since it was an amazing anime. It's famous for its blood and gore but it also has a good story to it and it combines horror, drama, a small bit of comedy, psychology, and romance to it. I really wish there could be more.

I would tell you guys to read the manga, but I myself wish they would have continued the story in anime format. Unfortunately, by corrupting-- I mean adapting the anime ending, they have made it pretty clear that we won't be getting a sequel.

I disagree.

Though the ending was a bit... meh... and somewhat annoying compared with the rest of the brilliance, at least with thinking her being dead and having been killed leaves with you finality, her silouhette just leaves annoyingness and hope for her living (as well as another series).

The first series was a perfect length and relatively self contained, the anime requires no more, were there to be another series it would just go along the same lines of mangling and killing (not that that's bad) of Lucy's enemies but they would require new characters and have to make up a new plot which would have to live up to series one and I think it would cheapen the whole experience of the first series if and when they failed to.

Sometimes it is best to leave a really good series with a captivating short ending, and most animes can't accomplish that because they're either really bad or- the story just doesn't work if it ends too soon.

I did read somewhere that Elfen Lied won an award for being the best short anime series. So, it did get good recognition for being so short of a series! Despite that, I'm going to agree with the majority of Elfen Lied fans and say that it does deserve another season. With such a good plot and enthralling characters an anime like that should continue.

I have to agree with Rainskye, the series was very self-contained, and it wrapped up just about every loose end. I think you run more of a risk of ruining the series with a 2nd season than you do of improving upon it.

I don't think that there should be another season of Elfen Lied. In my opinion it wouldn't be the same anymore. It was and is a good Anime but it has an ending. What should they use for another season? All the enemies are defeated and noone alive to harm Lucy and others. You would have to create a whole new sort of enemy but then I think it wouldn't be Elfen Lied anymore. And besides Lucy would fight the same way like in the first season and so maybe it would get a little bit boring to see the same attacks and defence over and over again.

There won't be another season of Elfen Lied because the creator didn't finish the manga. I think she's taking a break or something. She only releases like, one chapter a month. I wish she released them more often though, because it really is a great manga/anime. It's bloody and gorey and freaky. Not something to watch if you get scared easily. Lucy and her alter ego make the story even more interesting. I wonder if they'll expand on that

I enjoyed Elfen Lied a lot more before I realized that it is, essentially, a guro fetish show. The music was good, though.

I agree with the people who said it's best left as is. I LOVE this show, and I think the ended is absolutely PERFECT, and chilling down to every detail. Continuing it would take away the magic of it to me.

I don't really 'miss' it, heh, since I own it so I can just watch it whenever I really want to.

I'm not waiting for a sequel at all, but Elfen Lied certainly was an anime that really appealed to me. I remember starting to watch the first episode, and after that I skipped classes and just watched the complete series at once. I never had that with an anime before.

Now, I wouldn't say that Elfen Lied should come back, but I'd certainly like a similar series!
