Does everyone else hate fillers?
Yep. Because of the fillers now I hate Bleach, and don't watch it anymore. And note that I was a HUGE fan.
Yes we all "LOVE" fillers and somebody PLEASE close this thread now because I am tired of seeing people complaining about this shit over and over again when it leads to nothing...

Oh my. I just remembered how Naruto had continuous fillers for like ten episodes straight. I was all like, "...When will we just get to the plot?" I was dying during the fillers, because they were completely pointless and boring as hell.
There are few anime's that have nice fillers. I think everyone can name more that have horrible fillers than nice, sadly.

Fillers are so annoying =(
i skipped them all the time, and they waste up like 1/5 of the show

Fillers can be good depending from the story it is talking about.
I remember some fillers from Naruto which were hilarious and I think not seeing them would be a wast for everybody.
But then again there are some very long and boring fillers which somebody would rather not watch.
As I said, it all depends.

In terms of longer series, when you are usually talking about completely pointless/inane/annoying fillers, yeah I hate them. Watching DBZ on Cartoon Network back in the 90's taught me that really quick. When all I wanted to see was the conclusion of some big fight, and instead you get... 10 seconds of them powering up and 22 minutes of the worst comedy relief I've ever seen.
However, an example of a kind of "filler" episode that I really loved was Samurai Champloo Ep. 21 - the baseball episode, the last ep. right before the final story arc. First of all, it was hilarious, and even though it didn't advance the plot, it somehow felt right. All the characters behaved in their, by now, predictable ways, but it was nice to see them have some fun together before the final very serious story arc.
Mostly, though, I hate fillers.

I don't necessary hate fillers, but I don't like them either. I usually watch fillers, but I never watch them again if I'm re-watching the series unless it's good. Well, I only watched anime of Naruto not the manga. I actually stopped watching it because it was getting really boring to me. Anyway, for One Piece, their filler isn't that boring, but not that great either.
No,it's better than having to go off the air.at least you get a side story.
I think that fillers which gives us a better idea of a particular character
and those fillers that are funny are great
what i dislike about naruto and bleach fillers arcs are that they are too long
so long that one may forget about the real story is about
so a few fillers are okay
but 10 and above is a no no
it's becos of bleach's fillers that i don't watch bleach anymore

I love fillers, they make the characters develop, there are some great fillers in shows like CASSHERN which make the show really great!/(oOo)#
Tv tokyo, just can't afford to remove naruto and bleach off the air.
so while they wait fo the manga to progress further they have to make them
so the show can go on.
are the people in japan complaining about naruto/bleach fillers as well?

Filler get annoying when they tend to drag out - I watch them anyways. But I loved Prince of Tennis fillers, I guess it just depends on how much I love the show. Naruto fillers are terrible...but the Bleach fillers are okay, I suppose. But I suppose I would rather have fillers than have to show stop airing completely.
I really don't like them, too. They're just boring! The real story is so much more interesting. Sometimes fillers can be funny, but for the hundredth time it isn't -.- I think that's why I read long manga more frequently than watch long anime.
Yeah fillers are really a pain in the A**.
In longer animes like bleach or naruto there are fillers most anoying as exemple bleach when ichigo defeadet Grimmjow, i really wantet to know how it wiould be going on but they just show fillers.
There is no meaning in filler they story is stuck on the same point or they even arent to the same time as before so i would be glad if there wouldnt be fillers that much
