Elfen Lied

Hrm... actually I found the gore quite distracting enough to even think of the word "fanservice" heh... see you all tomorrow!
Yung ecchi ang ibig ko sabihin.
Probably the first anime I watched.
I've watched it all, read all the manga, which took a while... and was somewhat distrubing at times, and sometimes annoying in terms of plot... the manga really can't bear to lose main characters which is a bit dissapointing considering it's brutally violent nature. I think the story was great, very moving and touching, the animation/drawing in manga was good, and the length of the anime was good too, very intense and plot driven, though I am very willing to concede that much of the nudity is very, very pointless though at times it can help to emphasise things like the brutality of the diclonius captivity and their treatment as a whole. Apart from that, pretty needless, at least it wasn't too graphic for the most part.

I agree Social-Pariah the story was quite touching especially for Mayu and both Lucy and Kouta

@Rey-Asuka mayroon nga fanservice pero yung nakahubad si Lucy habang pumapatay siya ng tao, doon ako nadidistract.

@~ambstrike Yeah, it's derived from Spanish and American roots Well, I grew up with both languages Eng and Tag so I'm fluent.
@iamfreeska You can start watching the series at crunchy roll or the manga at onemanga. The series is unique from other genres because: It's a romance story circling around the themes of love, family, discrimination, sci fi, and bits of comedy.

Okay i'm done with the 1st chapter in one manga, so its some horror and mystery too but then why there's 'bionic' girl that nude there...haha

Another thing for the nudity's point of view.
With the anime, it isn't exactly fan service... it doesn't have the same feel, it's there, it's for the most part pointless, but they aren't stupid oversized bimbos with entire episodes dedicated to bouncing busoms. It more just takes the casual nudity in it's stride and doesn't overplay it too much, except for certain points where it goes for humourous predicaments between Nyu and others.
Can't say the same for the manga though... but oh well :P.

Heheh... I stayed up late because of that manga, not that i'm complaining. The story was really touching. Though I've only gotten to read the manga, sorry. Is tere are differences between the two? (Besides Kouta being more forgiving in the anime and Lucy being more aggressive as discussed earlier) Any feedback would be appreciated. What do you guys think of it's story though and in what way? Heh heh, I'm curious to see weather I'm the only one who thought of The struggle between two evils resulting in a lesser one. Thanks!

boo
uuu~ waat~ :0 muahaha~ XD
