Yes, well the gore and nudity were both elements that seemed to be this Anime's extreme turn-on's or turn-off's. (which ever way you swing ;D) Personally, I don't mind gore, but I really think the excessive nudity was unecessary. As a matter of fact, I hate excessive nudity in most Animes (don't mind some) mainly because it's distracting and makes it seem like people try too hard appealing to fanservice. I really don't think ripping off people's limbs, then flashing a pair of pale boobs is very attractive. Other than that though, I thought Elfen Lied was a solid/sad Anime...ughh except for that cliffhanger in the end.
