The giant tree that Ayu climbed and fell off of was just a stump when Yuuichi came back to the city. So unless it it grew back to a soaring height around 5 years... :P

So let's just say the tree grew faster then average trees :P. I mean... it WAS one of the tallest (if not the tallest) tree in that city at one point :P (till it was chopped XD).

Nagisa/Dango theme from Clannad always gets to me after watching ~After Story~
The one used in episode 16? it's a piano version with the instrumental parts of the original right? is there a complete version of it?
because you mentioned that,it reminded me of "that" scene.
they planned it superbly since it does what it's supposed to do,make the viewer feel emotional.

Here's a YouTube vid. of Nagisa/Dango theme I favored because it's played really well by this person. It's used a lot in ~After Story~ for sad parts mainly, but whenever I hear this song I think of the ending of ~After Story~ with (Don't read ahead if you haven't seen ending of ~After Story~!, curiosity is not worth spoiling a beautiful series
