Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Sometimes it does bug me and I have a bad habit of correcting people when I totally get irritated. That especially goes for people here in my country who try hard to speak English. I wasn't born here so the local language isn't my first language, English is. I try to control myself sometimes though but I guess it couldn't be helped.

It doesn't annoy me that much when it comes to spelling of words, but it does annoy me when people don't use capital letters at the start of sentences or commas etc.
Which I know is a bit petty but I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to the minor details of anything really! =P

Well, for me as an exemple, who lives in brazil and learned most of my english watching movies is kinda hard to write correctly, i try as much as i can but it's not easy, plus the fact that im no good even with my own language... make things hard...
as someone said before me, even with the spell check... sometimes the sentence end all messed up... it don't help sometimes... but in my case i like when people correct me... because i can learn by what they say.

It bugs me when I notice someone's grammar or spelling error (such as your lack of apostrophe in the title), but most of the time it doesn't effect me enough to compulse me to say something. I only pointed out your error cause it fit the topic xD~

I think most native speakers (or with English as the dominant language) would agree with me here that it is pretty obvious who's writing is evident of a native speaker or of one whom picked up English as a second (or past even that) language. Therefore it is only humane to let one's grammar/syntax slide when you know that perhaps English is not the author's dominant language.

However, it is rather appalling to see someone who possesses English as a dominant language make some rather elementary mistakes ("they're" vs "their" is a very common, rather hair-raising mistake, along with "its" vs "it's"). But yes, most of the time I would think people aren't douche-baggery enough to constantly correct others' mistakes, unless it warrants such an act of retribution, such as when individuals attempt to correct the current thread's mistake, yet the 'corrector' makes his/her own =)

No, I just don't read a persons post if their grammar is horrible. Why should I try to decipher it?

It's annoying, but I barely notice it anymore anyways...

It's like I've built up some kind of selective vision against it.

=( ) emoticonYea, I can’t spell that great either, but it doesn’t bother me to a certain extent. Some people have a weird way of talking. Me, personally I like adding “ED” to most of my verbs and adding “Z” to most of my words. The only time people’s grammar pisses me off is when I really can’t read what they are typing. Other than that it doesn’t matter much to me. So yea, lastly ack my nose itchez! /(O_O)/ emoticon

Remember everyone, the internet is not only for English speaking users; if we all want to interact then we all have to be open with our language and accept if some people aren't perfect grammar, spelling, and context. I'm not a native English speaker, but I think I do just fine in the oral and written part.

That is true as well. The english language has many words other languages do not have. So it would be hard for non-fluent English speakers to type or speak well.

If it's a few spelling and grammar mistakes, I don't mind. If I have to reread what they're trying to say, I don't bother.. not that it annoys me, I just immediately lose interest.

Well, it bugs me if the persons who's writing does the minimum effort to do it correctly, but if a non native English speaker (like me :D) tries to make his sentences look well then it's OK for me. And I know my grammar isn't perfect but I try to improve it everyday ^^.

I agree it bugs me a lot.
I hate it when people text or write something to me. And half of the time, I have to actually spend time to decipher what in the world they were trying to say >.<
