Lingo = I think its beacuse of the text messages that people use nowadays. They are so addicted on texting that they us eit even when conversing with other people. A bit annoying actually.
Wrong grammar = Disgusting.

It's bugs me sometimes. Depends though what it is. I can't stand when people use L33t talk or whatever it is. And also bugs me a bit when people try and bring accents into their writing on forums, they speak with an accent not write with it (I don't think anyway XD).
But as for basic english grammer, if it's terrible and done on purpose it's annoying. But I'd be a hypocrite if I said it is annoying all the time, because I'm positive I make mistakes here and there aswell.

I would say so, it bothers me. I am also not a great speller and a star in grammar, but hey I don't live in America or in an English country. So I can understand it when people make mistakes but only if they are from another country where English isn't the number one language. There are on this forum many many people from all over the world, not all of them fluent in English.
But you know what bothers me more? People talking in chatspeak. That is annoying. Even people who are around 30 or so use it and then I think..No you should know that it is not the best way of communicating.

Normally, people who make minor mistakes in English grammar and spelling don't bug me too much, despite the fact that I'm a self-proclaimed grammar Nazi. Some people just haven't been taught English from the cradle, like me, and others aren't as fluent, usually due to cultural reasons.
But when they make glaring mistakes even a preschooler could correct, or when they use chatspeak, that's when my Nazi-ness really kicks in, and I can be quite annoying when I start correcting others, I admit. I even insist on using proper grammar and spelling in text messaging and IM, but I have nothing against people who don't. I'm more lenient when it comes to instant messaging and cellphones.

Bugs the hell out of my, especially when people say 'me' instead of 'I', my teachers do it all the time. I've been a great speller since I was young, paying off in university right now :P
On forums and stuff i dont really care if people use correct grammar. As long as people can understand what you're trying to say, then it doesn't really matter if you use correct grammar or not. However, if its for an academic paper or something, i do get rather upset if someone uses incorrect grammar. But i suppose that goes without saying...
It doesn't necessarily bug me, because my english grammer isn't all that good... ^^;; as long as I can understand what the other is saying, I don't mind... ^_^

My grammar is far from perfect, but sometimes I get the feeling that some people just aren't trying..
I'm not being forced to read what someone typed, so I don't really see any reason for it to bother me. And I don't usually have a problem deciphering what it says, so yeah.

Umm.. not really... because I am not an English speaker, so my grammar isn't so much good either...

It annoys me when people post sentences like this and they don't have periods nor any punctuation whatsoever And then they capitalize the beginning of another sentence which in fact is probably another runon sentence itself I also hate when you cant figure out where sentences end or when they dont even put proper contractions I dislike all of that including the absolutely huge paragraphs with no space whatsoever Plus I don't like when people think there cool when people use two many tpyos when english is there native language or when they abrivate wrds lik dis.

It sometimes does bother me when people talk in chat/leet speak. If people can't spell correctly or use proper grammar I am ok with that. I do know a couple of people who have learning disabilities and cannot spell easy words correctly. So I don't have anything against that. ^^

Other people's grammar usually doesn't bother me until it gets so bad that their writing is nearly illegible. When I can't understand what someone is saying at all, misspelling every word, or not putting sentences into logical order, I draw the line and end up becoming a grammar fiend. Another thing that irks me is when people spell "grammar" "grammer."
For me, yeah sometimes..though, honestly, I am not perfect in spelling words or in my grammars..
So when I post in forum like this, I try to check my grammars especially the spell of the words I type..hehe..

Well, my grammar are not good! Or maybe you can call it ultimately BAD! Hahaha! I never check it when I write them.. I just write it and keep write it, no matter what happen!
