math=hard or easy??

Math for me is...well...it just kinda comes natural, but notall types of math. It took me ages to grasp fractions and percentages, yet anything having to do with geometry and algebra for the most part I could do in my sleep. Sadly, I never was one to do homework or study, and the practice from homework is the best help you can get besides asking your teachers for help.
I mean, I suck when it comes to writing papers, I'll take doing math problems over writing anyday, since it's all numbers, no point of view, no setting or tone or theme, just numbers.
Although, you'll always find that you make silly little mistakes now and then, although they can add up if you're not having a good day D:
mess up one part of the equation and you mess up the entire problem.
That's one other good thing, most math teachers on any level give some sort of partial credit. lol

Shiora, my friend, hello!
Somebody said that math is easy if you study and listen it becomes hard if you don't pay attention and put effort on it.

Math is both hard and easy. If you are talking about using the formula to apply on normal problems then it's easy. But if you use that formula to manipulate more complicated problems, then it's very hard. I can do the easy ones but when it comes to the harder ones, all I did is staring at the paper.
When you study for math you just study it. Review all you learned in the week before the test. It doesn't cost much time if you understand it. I always do homework in class.
If I don't pass the test, oh yes. My parents are very angry. I can do bad on other subjects and they will let it pass lightly but if I fail math, oh no, they are going to give me an interrogation.
My favorite subject is art and science. Math is never my favorite subject. Never ever ever and ever. I do good on math but that doesn't mean I like math. I view math as a dry piece of wood, no passion in it. I usually have 90 to 100 on math tests but I never get 100 before.

If only it consisted of calculations such as 1+1=2...i usually pass by margain...that is i get some 50-60 out of 100...........I suck
I'm reasonably good at Maths but nowhere near genius level like my friend. He doesn;t study mcuh - if at all - yet gets amazing results >_<! I guess my favourite topi would be differentiation! It interesting instead of being boring like most Maths topics. I agree that Maths teachers are sometimes very bad. I highly doubt my teacher knows what he's talking about when he teaches Mathematics. My parents get pissed at me if I don't get above 90% lol XD! I usually get above 90 but I have been known to get 60 and 70 (my mum almost killed me)!

Secret to math is do a shit load of questions and you will do well
Math is easy as hell, if you want to be good at math, learn your basic stuff. And the best way to learn these basics is not memorize formulas, it's doing hundreds practice questions per day. Chinese kids aren't that much smarter than others, everyone of them are good at math cuz they know the basic principles inside out and they do tons and tons of practice exercisers everyday.
I am Chinese, I moved out of China when I was 14, I did not learn anything about calculus or statistics, but the basics I learned in China still gets me A's in any university math class.

I find that maths comes naturally, to some people but is fairly difficult for my self. but listening to what the teacher is trying to say really helps.
I love math. It's the subject that I do best in. It can get harder at the higher levels like Number Theory though. Really it all comes down to how we think as individuals, but to answer your questions,
1) When it comes to math I just review the base concepts behind whatever field of mathematics I'm taking a course in. I don't hardcore study though.
2) Well...my dad gets pissed off when I fail a test in general.
3) Abstract Algebra. I just find it to be very interesting.
4) On exams it can really depend on the level of the course I'm taking, but generally I fluctuate between 80s and 90s in math subjects.

Maths is too hard. I know the formulas but i dunno how to apply it onto the question. Someone help me! T_T
1. Well I don't call myself a math genius, but it's been my favorite subject as long as I can remember. How do I study? I don't! Hahaha! Well I just listen to the teacher as much as I can, then remember everything (especially the formulas) as much as I can.
2. No, because I've never failed math before! Booyah!
3. It's algebra, but I began to like statistics as well when I took it. If you become really good at statistics, there's so many things you can do with it! Unlike algebra, which you never really use in real life.
4. I won't say how much I get, but I never fail.

Well, if you want to be good at math first you must loved it.
Then you study daily and review the math lesson that you obtain in school at your home. Practice every math problem in math book or try ask some advice from your math teacher for any math problem. Why don't you form a discussion group with your classmates according to math problem you face.
My parents never angry whenever I get a bad score in math because they've know my best effort although if don't pass math lesson is another story.
My favorite topic is asymmetric, logarithms, calculus, cosines, chance calculation, and trigonometry
I usually get 80 to 90 in math but there's once I get 70 and that's my worst score after all.
Sp; I'm not math genius I obtain a good score in math because I'm studying and I loved math very much.

Math is incredibly difficult. At least for me, most likely because I'm completely irrationally minded... I can't really do a problem without attempting to think of hidden meanings behind the numbers. >___>; My math average is somewhere in the 80-90% range, which is definitely far from great; I'm pretty much just scraping by.
My parents have somewhat resigned themselves to the fact that I will never be very good at math, although it doesn't mean that they don't get angry when I bring home incredibly bad grades.
Unsurprisingly, probably, my favorite subject is literary - I like English and History, and then music; pretty much the opposites of mathematics and science.
I would say that math is vital for this world - but certain things past middle school math are really unnecessary for everyday life, and everyday people. My philosophy, as terrible as it is, would be to let the mathematicians deal with it, and then to go off and benefit the world in some other way that doesn't quite involve my ultimate failure each and every time.

MAths its one of the easiest subjects in school. At least I enver had problems with Maths.
How do I study? I dont, I just do them. No idea how, I just memorize the lessons and that's it. When I have a test the results comes automatically.

Math can be one of those subjects where hard or easy. It just really depends on how much effort you can put into it. I passed my algebra 1 & 2 class in high school with a B; in fact, I passed I passed algebra 2, while paying presidents in my class. While other people where working on homework, I was playing presidents in class. In other words, it just really depends if your are a math person or not.
