Woohoo! My local import anime store just got in two Figma figures for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya over the weekend! One was for Haruhi and the other one was for Yuki. I have been waiting for the Yuki Nagato one, so as soon as I saw it I snatched it up. And then right after that someone came in the store and bought the other Haruhi one! I wonder if I had been a few minutes late would the other person have bought the Yuki one as well? You bet they would have! LOL. Figma figures are cool because (like Revoltech) you can make them have different poses. But IMO the Figma figures are slightly better than the Revoltech ones. I hope the anime store gets the Mikuru (in school uniform) one next; I shall have to save my moneys for that one… starting now. LOL. Anyway, I figured I should make my Yuki Nagato figure fight my EOE Mass Production Eva figure to see what would happen. Hmmm... looks like Yuki is just about to clock the MP Eva a good one, but I guess she had to pose for the camera first. LOL.

Great buy. I have been thinking about getting figmas too. I see alot of YouTube videos where they make them dance (its amazing). What do you think about the quality?

Hmmm… the hands are pretty flimsy (but they did give me 5 different pairs for Yuki); I mean they have a little bulb at the end that you stick in the hole in the wrist socket and my Yuki’s right hand seems really loose for some reason (but you can fix it if you get creative). But other than that I was very impressed with the quality. (But then I really like Goodsmile products, they make the Nendoroid brand and those are my favorite. Except on the box it says both Max Factory and Goodsmile, so I don't really know who makes the Figma series). But what I really like about the Figmas is how they do the joints (much better than Revoltech joints IMO). And (except for the hands) I love how the Figma figure is able to articulate its limbs so easily and fluidly (things don't easily fall apart like the Revoltechs IMO). It really is fun to play with them. LOL. And IMO the most important part; the overall paint job and the look of the face are quite nicely done.

*looks at TsundereMoe’s anime toys* OMG. You got the Haruhi Suzumiya Nendoroid Petit figure from Vol. 1! I’m so jealous. LOL. I bought 5 random boxes from a single case of the Vol. 1 Nendoroid Petits and I got both versions of Evil Witch Yuki; both versions of Maid Mikuru and a Tsuryu. No Haruhi Suzumiya for Reizboy. *single tear* LOL. And I had 3 shots to get it too, because the secret figure was also a Cheerleader Haruhi. Oh well; I mainly wanted my Yukis anyway. OMG. You also got a Nendoroid Petit Swimsuit Konata! *shrugs* I like Kagami best. LOL. *whispers* I have the School Uniform Kagami Nendoroid Petit figure. LOL. OMG. You got a giant Yuki Nagato figure… that you are trying to kill with ultrasonic soundwaves from that giant speaker! Nuuuuuu! LOL. *just joking* OMG. That giant Rei Ayanami figure is so awesome! She must be at the beach because she took off her socks and shoes! I’m so jealous! LOL. OMG. Did you actually buy an Aphrodite Asuka? What about the Aphrodite Rei? How dare you choose Asuka over Rei! This is an outrage! LOL. *just joking* OMG. You are going to Japan to buy some Figmas! Take me with you! It must be so cheap over there! Plus, you can get the figures as soon as they are released instead of waiting forever for the slightest glimmer of a chance that they might actually show up on the shelf at your local import anime store. *sniffles* LOL. School Outfit Mikuru is already released over there! *shouts like Captain Kirk in Wrath of Kahn* Mikuruuuuuu! LOL.

Damn, are you god? LOL. *just joking* I mean you buy one of each and you get the two most popular ones. LOL. If it is a fresh box however I can usually almost tell what’s what just by the weight and the sound alone.
