As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Hello~~ =]
i got a kimono from japan about 2 years ago but haven't had many chances to wear it since i'm not japanese. so i decided to use it for my self portrait assigned in my art class. the painting is suppose to be in black and white so i posted both. the picture was taken by my younger brother (age 12) so it's a bit blurry. comments are very welcome!

I got this kimono/yukata while on vacation in Japan. i found it in Duty Free for 9800 yen. I only bought one since I know i won't have much chances to wear it. i think the only places I've worn it to is otaku fests and international events.
