Its been about 4months since I have moved to Japan. All the anime goods and manga has sucked up a good portion of my budget lol
So I've been looking to see if I can save money and still enjoy my hobby. I'm not sure in US, but in Japan alot of otakus make original decals to decorate their cars and electronics.
I have finally decided to see if someone like me with no experience can easily do something like this. At the moment, I'm still at a rough draft but decided to post pics to share the idea.

As I said, these are rough outlines printed on regular printer paper just to see how it would look. Sorry for the quality, these were taken on my phone.

Itasha, that's what they're called, all those cars with the anime decals on them parked in the Comiket parking lot every event. If I was living in Japan I'd probably do it to my car too.
Those are pretty awesome, even if they are paper at the moment. Would be neat to decorate my DS like that. :)
I don't know about my car though, haha, since I am a "closet" Otaku.
