This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

U can edit it and add the new size

Ah, I see. So after approving is possible to change to even a not listed resolution.

The first was a 4:3 wallpaper. The low res widescreen version has been added later.

°akiranyo 31 minutes ago
Kath: That means that the first was 1440x900?

^hatesyou 33 minutes ago
The 1280x800 version has been uploaded by the user as a first revision. Might pay to get your facts straight before complaining.

°akiranyo 36 minutes ago
We should go up with resolutions not down. Btw AP resizes 1440x900 automatic to 1280x800.

I tried to download this scan and it did go to the download page but only showed the background never the image. I was thinking that it was just an problem with doing two at the same time but after the one finished I reloaded this one but it never did load at all, all you get is the site logo background!

I checked. Same problem for me.
The image is not displaying. Maybe it's broken and the uploader need to upload it again.

Let's wait for a mod to make things clear.

Yes, that scan does not show up in full view. I deleted it and a PM was sent to the uploader to re-submit the scan again. Sorry about that.

I tried downloading images but when I clicked it all I see is a blank: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v718/krnozine/anipapersERROR.jpg but the problem is I tried refreshing it thinking of it as an error but it was still like that and the problem was it consumed my papers. I remember it was a pic from sukisho and kodochan. I hope you can address the admins or tech team to do something about it, and I use DSL connection so I doubt it's a problem with mine and this was the first time it happened to me in animpapers.

I am having the same issue as the OP, but with this scan here. I ended up trying two more times and using up 60 papers, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't just a one-time thing.

Edit - I just tried a second scan, located here, and it did the exact same thing; took the papers, but only displayed the background tile image. My browser is Firefox 2.0.0.7.

With the exception of the very first link by the first poster, all those images referred to by everyone else are working fine.

This therefore means you guys are having some form of problem. Common issues people have had before include:

1. An incorrectly set up security program, most especially a firewall (zonealarm and mcafee being common culprits).
2. A full cache. If your cache becomes full you will have problems downloading. Clear your cache.
3. Inappropriate browser. The recommendation is for firefox, so give that a go if you're not using it already.

For more information, read the guide, the FAQ stickied at the top of problems and suggestions, or hunt back in this forum for other threads on the same issue.

I'll lock this, as it's not really our jobs to fix your system problems. In the worst case we recommend you get someone to come and have a look at your machine, as it's far easier to diagnose problems in person than on a forum.
