I tried to download a wallpaper recently, but I was rejected citing a lack of contribution. I accumulated 72 papers and the greatest cost for a download is 50 papers. Did I do something wrong?

I even tried switching from Firefox to Internet Explorer because in the forum help thread, it said that this may be a problem, but I am still having trouble downloading the wallpaper.

How can I fix this problem?

Papers is for downloading scans. Wallpapers are free. Normal members can download up to 15 wallpapers in a 24 hour period.
... or if you hit the contribution limit, then you can participate a bit in the forums or comment on wallpapers in the gallery or contribute some scans/wallpapers or donate some money to have your limit lifted. Please consult the AP Guide next time. All this info is in there.

You'll find posting a few more wallpaper comments will unlock your downloading rights again.

Hello, I didn't want to make a new topic, maybe I can find help here. My problem started I think a year ago, I probably reached some limits and wasn't able to download wallpapers anymore. I read that I need to be more active, since then I have one wallpaper accepted and did, I guess sth like 20 comments.
I can't be too active on the forum because, as you can see my English really sucks so I don't even try. What else can I do? Will uploading more wallpaper help because It's is quite complicated to comment on walls if I can't see them fully so I can comment only on those that I know from another source: /

Yes, you did uploaded wallpapers which you should noticed that you were able to download wallpapers then. But the last wallpaper from you was submitted a year ago and your last wallpaper comment was 6 months ago. Due to your inactivity these past 6 months, you weren't able to download wallpapers recently. Be more active by commenting on people's wallpapers.

If you continue to participate, you will continue to download wallpapers. If you stop participating, then the system will stop you from downloading wallpapers. It's as simple as that. Just continue to comment on wallpapers, a few a day, and you'll notice that you can download wallpapers again.

I also forgot to add that there's the option of donating. This is not required at all, but it is an option for people who don't have time to participate but want to download wallpapers all the time. Again, you don't have to. Just comment on people's wallpapers and the contribution limit will be lifted automatically.

Do you know how many times you need to comment because I have been doing it for a week and I still can't seem to download.

Commenting "all week" amounted to 9 comments... all of which don't meet the requirements and have been removed.
