Anyone play Maplestory?

So does anyone play MS? What world? What job? What level? And you can post some tips or gitches in the game.

I hav played Maple Story but got bored because of it's 2d play...
There is also many Online games that is better than MapleStory for me ^_^

It turns me off, no PKing, and monsters who look too cute to get beaten up.

Tips... DON'T waste your time on this game (My Opinion anyways~)...Reasons are:
I. Too much grind (sure its cute and fun in the beginning, but later on its just hours and hours of killing the same mob). No PKing which was mentioned above.
II. The community is horrible. You'll meet probably a lot of 10 year olds, and a lot of immature and racist people (in scania at least). People may/will scam, Kill steal your monsters, and if you try to reason with jerks they normally just get a lvl 100 character, and kill steal you until you switch channels or to the worse defame you. (Fame is something like reputation I guess).
Also, there are a lot of hackers, although patches usually solve that problem buy updating patches, hackers eventually find a way to bypass it and vaccuum monsters (literally sucking monsters) to them (so that they can kill in mass) and you would be left with nothing to kill. The Game Masters (GMs) virtually do nothing.
As far as tips in game, I suggest you go to Hidden-street.net for quest help or finding maps/monster locations.
Glitches; I don't know of any for as long as I've played.
Thats all I can say... I've played it for quite some time now, but unless you are attracted to their 2D style of gameplay, or playing with a group of friends, its not a game you will enjoy in the long run unless you know people in high places. I did what most people did, an assasin. I could be mistaken but I believe I was around 50 when I quit. It got boring pretty quick but I kept playing because I kept getting cool items

My opinion is fun in cycles. Meaning, its fun for like 2 weeks and then you leave it for like a month and then it becomes fun again ^^;;;
I really don't like the leveling process though, cause it is definitely repeptitive =.=;; Just repetition of killing the same monsters in the same pattern etc.
Really if you go around randomly killing anything, you won't level that fast. The way Maplestory makes it is that you have to do this boring training technique >_>

I've played for over a year and got a lvl 74 Ice mage Gobbins, lvl 37 Bandit Beguiling and a lvl 27 'sin Nitohei, all on Scania. If you, in fact, anyone plays MapleStory, DON'T become a magician. Dullest class out there.

Although the vast majority of the community are indeed complete retards, with thier "cc plz" and "noob" ways, if you dig long enough, there ARE nice players there!! I do not lie!
I hardly ever play now. So many better things to do, like draw! MapleStory is like a last resort on those days when nothing else presents itself. o_O

Well i had started playing but the lvling up got way to boring way to quickly. It just takes up to much time if you ask me
I started not to long ago, and I just got to Lv 13!I'm so proud XD I'm a Rogue Thief, working to become an Assasin. I don't have any friends there yet and I play in plenty different channels yet still, I don't have anyone to hang with.
I do find it repetitive and probably will get bored to XD but atleast you can always come back.

I absolutely agree with Xiphas. I downloaded that game because I thought the graphics were pretty nice. And it "looked fun" to me when my friends played it. After I downloaded it, played it for 1 day, and I said to myself, "...this is extremely boring. I'm going to play GunZ instead." And then I uninstalled it.
In my opinion, I think MapleStory is very similar to Ragnarok Online. Sure, the graphics are gorgeous, but the gameplay overall is just...boring. I mean, walking around chatting to a lot of strangers while killing cute monsters at the same time...what is that? Yeah, it's to increase your experience points, your character level, and your job level. And once you've reached those levels, you don't have anything else to do but walk around and talk some more. I'd rather chat on msn than to chat to a lot of random people on the game.
*shrugs* This is my opinion, really ^^; So don't be offended in any way just because I don't like the game. I don't hate the people who plays the game. I just don't like the game. That's it. =)
