What do you think? Is the extraction good enough? Is the background original enough to be accepted for AnimePaper? I am not sure what kind it is (grungy? I have no idea) so its just being dubbed "original"by me *chuckle*

while i dont know if the background can be described as 'original' since its... not really anything unique(?)... but i believe it works just fine

for the extraction, the main thing i noticed are the tip of the sword and her hair:
-that one antenna strand looks needle sharp o.o
-i see one white pixel between where the hair collides in the bottom left of the... hair... (some white edges also apparent in other places)

How about duplicating the scan, on with not so much opacity in the front and one more with maybe full opacity behind the original scan, then make it look like the cap is on fire? or maybe the hair or the necklace, try to lay the viewers attention on the really nice things, and the edges could have been better

True, I feel there's something missing as well. Something to make it "unique". I think the upper left void could do some filling, perhaps another place for the font?
And I think that she should have both eyes open, it looks kinda like she has tics or something like that. Anyhow I like the background grunge nice going there. =) Keep going!
