I'm back after a few months break, and I gotta say. Things are so much slower around here! Threads move slower than molasses and what is with how many guests are online versus how many memebers?! Am I right, or are the other forums I'm on just crazy fast?

If you were here since V4, then you should notice it said V5 now.
plus... yes, you may whine how all old members shat themselves bricks and died of diarrhea and fresh hemaroids.
most have graduated to participating in real life, which I am sad to say, I failed much, especially lately.

As for relatively new material, don't expect much.
if you really do care for the speed of the threads, join /b/ on 4chan or something... that is... if you dare.

plus, good conversation dies too quickly, no one even wants to discuss movies with me... LOL.

Well I'm still around here if that matters. I don't post much nowadays because people post the same exact threads and well it's boring. Not to mention that people nowadays don't really give a beckor says hi about threads anymore. If you type anything more then 3 lines nobody reads it and the discussion dies out. (not to mention all the foreign people who have a hard time spelling

Well, I post very little now to the humongous amount of content I need to read. I usually just greet people into Animepaper. But even that's a little lacking right now. It must be just one of those days. Shoutbox isn't as lacking, or maybe it is. Don't really know. Probably it's a little less active, just because people want a break. You can never tell.

I think things are moving nice for me. In the previous version, I had issues with the loading of the scans section. This version doesn't have any problems. The pages are loading faster, there are few slowdowns if any, and I am enjoying having my say here in General Discussion. I'm not too keen to a number of topics posted here, though, but that why we can select whatever topic we please, and talk about it.

Interesting how some AP users here got sick when posting on these boards. I venture into 4chan only to grab something that isn't here on AP, or to laugh at the random stuff on /b/. Here, I use the BBS to answer a number of questions and thoughts that are posted here, as well as post an occasional sketch or two on Artist Alley.

And there are no slowdowns, from what I have recently experience. Or maybe it's just my computer. You think?

If I don't talk much anymore it's because of 2 reasons:

1.) I have to go somewhere where there's no computer like camping

2.) If I get a new game. I play them non-stop until I beat it. I beat "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" for GameCube in less than a week. Also I beat Pokemon Pearl Version for Nintendo DS in less in less than 3 days.

So those are the reasons I don't talk much now and again.

I blame exams. Most forums are moving slower then usual at the moment.

I can imagine most students are either enjoying the sun or studying for their exams - will get more quiet untill September when I imagine the forums will be extra busy!

Agree with auronx. It's summer, even the most hardcore contributers to the forum might be in Venice or Shanghai, doing things not posting-related...

It also explains why during vacation-time, the people signed on to my AIM buddy-list is 1/3 of how many are on during school-season.

I agree. Last time I logged on, the site runs very fast but this time, it's kinda slow. It irritates me. And there are too much guests but so little members. I think our members should be more than that but I'm not surprised at the big number of guests. I think most people know this site.
