I like more the second one. I think that vector art you made at the background and the render need somekind of cleaning stuff.

Second one most defiantly, but the character has some white pixels around her, and the swirls int he background have some rough edges.
I like the second wallpaper more than the first. Your first wallpaper was a little too much on the crowded side, it took my at least a minute to work things out XPP The second wallpaper has a really nice touch to it, simple but effective ^^ So I think you should work with the second wallpaper ^^
Although I said that the second wallpaper looks better, I do believe you're going to work quite a bit to get the wallpaper acceptable...the background is waaayy too blurry, you're going to have to maybe find different swirl brushes of something, click here and you'll find a whole load of links to other sites which post Photoshop Brushes ^^
There are jagged lines going around the scan, so you need to work on the extraction of the scan, I can still see bits of white from the previous background on the scan...the scan is grainy, you need to clean it, you will find Tutorials for all that (cleaning and extracting) here Good luck with the wallpaper!

I have to choose the second one too. It's much better quality, even though it does need cleaning up. The stuff in the foreground is good but everything in the background, including the character, needs to be either extracted better or just cleaned up to look more crisp.

You should of just asked XDD I'm glad to help you with your first wallpaper ^^ Well, the background is very crowded, I think that the wallpaper would do without two of the same images, I think that you should keep the smaller scan BUT have the smaller scan in colour?
Maybe placing the text in a more readable place, maybe bringing the text higher would help? And maybe using a more metallic sort of text would make the wallpaper look more cool? Some of the swirls in the background -especially the swirl(s) on your right- are really blurry and pixelized and I think you enlarged them...you can find links to websites which post Photoshop Brushes -including swirl brushes- here ^^ Have fun!! And I really like that sort of mechanical 'thing' in the background XP Don't know what to call it XD

You mean your first wallpapers XD Opps my bad XP Hmmm well generally same problem with your first and second wallpaper (here in this post) Oh and yes before I start please start a new thread if you are going to ask for help with these two other wallpapers, it clearly states in the Session Zero Rules you are to only post one wallpaper in each thread.
But carrying on with your two other wallpapers...XP It's really just the same problem actually, you keep enlarging the brushes I think that's what the problem is...and when you enlarge a brush it loses ALOT of quality and it goes all pixelated and all blurry and horrible to use XP Actually I think I have that brush set XDDD LOL So yeah well, just stop enlarging the brushes and your problem will go away...hopefully x3 Click on the link I posted in my previous comment and find some swirl brushes that you like and use them WITHOUT enlarging them and post back into here and see how it goes ^^ Good luck!!
