GA II wallpaper: Apricot

This will be my first submission if a consensus of reviewers give me the green light on this one. No one has made a Galaxy Angel II wallpaper, so this could be the first one.

I feast on simplicity. I decided to go ahead and add a few more squares to accentuate the shadow on Rico, after some very good feedback on this thread.
I don't know if I should change it to "Galaxy Angelune" on the test, because I prefer to have it stay "Galaxy Angel II." I decided to do this after finding a vector from 4chan to use as the base. I think I might need to add a little more, but for the most part I think this is a good one.
What do you think, guys?

I think making the white shadow smaller, and possibly another lighter color, not so white, would help.
The borders of the shadow look pixelated, you should try fixing that and making them look smother.
Other than that, I like the style and the simplicity of your wallpaper.

Then to my I like ^.^, single I say a thing to you, if you put the image clearest would have left ^^ still better, that is what I create :P, I wish much luck you!

As in another smaller shadow with a transparent pale yellowish orange? Or should this color be in the background?
I do admit, the edges of the shadow should have been smoothened, and I'll experiment shrinking the shadow, probably to see if I can get her head on top followed by whatever. And, guys, I use PSP for this, so it doesn't smoothen out the shadow on the first try.
Thanks for the feedback, and I'm going to update the link to an improved wall on the first post when I get that fixed.

No, just as in shrinking the existant one and changing the color to maybe the lightest orange you have in the desktop, of course, you might have to add a few more squares to take up for the space you've left, but that shadow is a bit overpowering as it is.
I wouldn't shrink it too much though, cuz then you will have a lot of negative space issues
Okay, mellykill. Yeah, cause I wwasn't sure what you mean by lighter color. I fixed it on the revision, smoothed out the edges and added a few more squares to counter the negative space.
The revision is done and posted on top, and actually I like this one a much better that the previous one. This is why feedback is important. It can lead to better results more times than not.

Looks good to me now! I can't possibly think of anything else you need to do, but I'm by far no expert.
Hey, nice wallpaper. I like it. Just a suggestion, but maybe you could try experimenting with a light gradient on the shadow? I'm not sure if it'll turn out well though; you'll have to try and see. But it looks a bit... glaringly empty, if you know what I mean. Hope my suggestion was helpful! ^^
