This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Yeah, Hello. It's my second time writing to these forums. I want to discuss about how much manga costs in another countries. I can say that in Finland the prize is about 10 to 12 ? per book.

Well cant you put the prize en dollar, here in mexico the prices are difirent for each manga for example:
ZEtman........80pesos......7dollar
Love hina......25pesos......2.5dollar
Kirara..........60pesos......7dollar
to most expensive manga is Zetman right now, as you can see. It is a little expensive for some people.

Over here in Singapore, the licensed release from a local company is around US$4-$5 a volume. But a lot of us prefer to get the one imported from countries like Taiwan and Hong Kong which sells for slightly more.

Kind of shock to see how much people on the other side of the world paid for their manga. I guess some of us should count ourselves lukcy for staying in this part of the world. But believe it or not, there are a lot of local fans still complained about the high price of manga. A similar release in Taiwan goes for as low as US$4 a volume.

Here in America the average cost of a manga is $10, if your going for the original manga the ones made in Japan a store that import manga cost roughly $1-$5. the small problem is that with new volumes takes up 2 months and sometimes even 6 months so if so the most i spend on manga is maybe at most $20 per month but i know some people who lose interest because of the long period of time between volumes.

I'm from Vietnam. One manga cost about 5000 -7000 VND (0,4-0,5 USD), usually have about 120 page, contain about 6 chapters. I used to pay about 20000 VND for buying or rent manga. I also read a lot of free manga translated to English on web. It helps me to save money and time, cause sometimes, I can find some newer chapter on Internet than the chapter which published in Vietnamese.

Manga in America costs $10, and the $10 often applies to manga released by TokyoPop. Other companies have different prices, though most try to stay within that $10 range so that the consumer will be able to buy it. I buy yaoi manga as well and the cost of one yaoi manga is $12-$17. I guess it costs more than the regular manga because of the adult content.

Every volume VIZ Media puts out is usually $7.95??although every volume of FMA is $9.95. I generally find that TOKYOPOP's manga is $9.95, and Del Ray's is $10.95 (or at least that's how much I pay for Negima!). Usually it depends on the company that puts it out.

I do spend a lot on manga, but I love to read it and it's all worthwhile in the end. If I can complete the 14 volume collection of Love Hina manga without my parents' knowledge, it will all be worthwhile. Same with Rurouni Kenshin and Negima!
