First I thought that my friend is only joking but now I know that he's true, there's really anime Romeo x Juliet.
Uhmmmm............ I'm interested with this anime, I wonder if it's like William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" because last week I made a script of it and other shakespeare's made. I made a script for our school play.

I just watched the first episodes, and damn it's better than I thought ^__^
Same happens to me. Thought "OK, everyone is speaking about it and the art looks nice. Just take a look." Now I love it and can't wait to get the newest episodes.

The opening song and the 2nd ending song are so good. They frequently enter my playlist and i seldom pass them over. as for the show itself, i was a little reluctant at first to start watching this but now i'm glad i did. it's one of the better shows this past spring season. can't wait to see how it ends
I watch the story of Romeo and Juliet of William Shakespeare yesterday and it's really pretty.
They are part that Romeo talk to his self also Juliet.
But I don't like the ending because they both died because of misconception.
I wish that the anime:Romeo x Juliet is not like Shakespeare's book. I hope they will not died.

Ever since the preview came out, I wanted to watch this series soo badly. And the first few episodes didn't disappoint me. But, the episodes seem to be slowing down right now, possibly because it's catching up to the manga maybe? I dunno. Anyways, love how the whole 'fantasy' thing is fused with this story. The animation is great and the storyline is greaat. o.o But for some reason, I kinda want Juliet to be with Tybalt. xDD Or even Curio. For some weird reason, I don't like Juliet with Romeo. @.@ Anywaaays, I love how Juliet can fight. That is just so awesome. xD I don't like those weak girls who have to have guys save her every second, or is just a plain weakling/crybaby. And I'm soo happy Juliet isn't like that. Well yeaah, there you go. :] It's a great story, I just wish they would speed it up a bit and lessen the JulietxRomeo bits and get on with the story. [I know that the JulietxRomeo thing is very important to the story, I just don't like those parts. @.@]

I understand what you want to say.I also wish the story could advance more than the romance between the two.Also,I really think Tybalt is way cooler XD ...But the story says there has to be a 'Romeo'..thus there's no room for poor Tybalt
Personally, I prefer this version to Shakespear's original one. In the play version, Romeo and Juleit meet, fall in love, get married, and die in the course of what seems to be three days. -_- I hope that they stay alive in the anime though!! ><

I second that. I love Romeo x Juliet's OP but I don't really like the 2nd ED though and now... it's episode 23... another few episodes to go before it's going to end.
Anyway, will both of them be trees for sake of Neo Verona?

Really enjoy this anime. I've yet to watch ep 20 and 21. Dunno if 22 is out yet? I just downloaded them a while back and I haven't found time to watch. I really like the twist they put on the classical story. Great anime. I recommend to anyone who hasn't started watching it to start now!

. I have no idea how is it going to end, but I guess it's going to be a little bittersweet...
I know probably a lot of people will be upseat by what I'm going to say but...: I hope Montague ends up well... I mean, he is the evil chara, but even though, I've got the feeling that at the end, he's going to be like: Romeo, I did it all for your mother, for the Neoverona's sake, I thought it would be the right thing... or something like that. I don't know. I know, he's mean and all, but I wish he's have a fitting ending, maybe not like the one I'm saying, but anotherone that fitts him.
