Namco X Capcom
The problem is that it's only in Japan. I heard it wasn't a bad game. Here is the link to the game opening

The song is catchy, and I love the anime-like style created in this game. The funny part about it is that it's actually a RPG type of game. Weird, but it look like it's fun. Any interesting you wanted to add?

I SoOO want this game to come out in the US, but it probably never will. I heard about this way before it even came out in Japan, and I always thought it was a great idea. I guess I'm just a sucker for anything with KOS-MOS in it.
O snap what system is it for maybe we can get roms for it but dam this is sexy.

It's for the PS2 I believe. It's just hard planning to get it, even getting it for torrents is hard, because their are a few seeders for it. Life is not fair by not getting this game.

I have it. It's not a bad game, it's pretty good. If any of you have ever played Final Fantasy Tactics, thats how the battle system is basically.
Really? I would've assumed it was another in the standard Vs line (Marvel Vs. Capcom, Capcom Vs. SNK etc.) Well, now I'm definitely intrigued. Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll get translated.
I like this game. It kind of plays like strategic tactical RPGs (think Final Fantasy Tactics). The combination attacks are also fairly fun to find and watch (eg Ken and Ryu do an attack together that ends with a dual Shoryuken). One of the best parts is that they actually got most, if not all, of the original (Japanese) voices for the various characters.

I have this game in Japanese and it's for PS2. The opening theme song is really nice, it starts out sounding like street fighter a bit. There's a website to dl the opening theme song, but I forgot where. This isn't a standard VS game like how Capcom VS Snk or Marvel VS Capcom. It's more like a SRPG like Disgaea, FF tactics, etc. It's a fun game and I hope they bring it to the US.
That sounds awesome where do you guys get your japanese imports for videogames because I would like to get some because they always look so good but we dont always get them.

Unfortunately, this game's been out for a while. I really wish it did come to the US though. I really wanted to play it when I first heard about it. They should have really thought twice about the name, though. Seriously, whenever a "Vs" is found in a game title that involves Capcom, many people are going to think it's a Marvel Vs. Capcom type fighting game.

Well, this site is pretty good:

I dont really think it's that great of a game, due to the fact that it has an FF Tactics style battle.
I didn't see it mentioned, but it may be worth noting that the PS3 will reportedly be able to play Japanese imports, and it's backwards compatible, so as a result anyone interested in Namco X Capcom may get the chance to play it (and a boatload of other JP games) -- assumming they're planning to purchase the PS3 that is.
Understanding the game may be another matter, but with great[er] availability I can only assume that a great[er] chance for English translations will be made available, and even if it isn't, the gameplay looks to be such that there would still be a lot of enjoyment to be had.
I had been hoping this would see a U.S. release as well, but now I'm just waiting for the PS3 release to see if I'll have the chance to finally play it then.

PS3 software is supposely regionless... not sure if the system itself will be regionless...
There's already English translation walkthroughs on gamefaqs for Namco VS Capcom...
