Hi does anyone have any sugestions or critique?

Please do not post the wallpaper directly into the thread -- post a link.
It's too simple. Just an image pasted on a texture.
Your extraction also needs a great deal of work.
Try reading some tutorials and browsing the galleries.

First of all:
Please post a link or thumbnail. Never hotlink a wall into a thread.
About the wallpaper:
The resolution is to small. This might be cause you used PhotoBucket and PhotoBucket always sizes the walls down. If it's not a case of PhotoBucket and your wall is only 800 x 600 px in resolution you need to make it much bigger. Read the guide to see the acceptable resolutions which start with 1024 x 768 px.
The wall is much to simple.
Like doki said before me: It's just a pic pasted on a plain background.
The background needs much more. You can work with brushes and texture but don't overdo it. You really need to add something to it cause like it is now it doesn't really work with the pic you choose. I think it would work better with some sort of Scenic background. I'm not sure which sort might be best cause it's your wall and I don't kno w what your wanted to achieve with it.
The scan needs a better extraction. I can see jagged lines all around it and you also missed some parts of the original background. Take a look at the hand he holds the card with. There is a huge white field between his fingers, this is from the original background and needs to be erased. Same goes for the areas where his hair ends on his shirt and some points around his feets.

May I add something... Beacause it says will investigate for cookies why dont you make a cookie or some "L loves sweets" based background. It would add a nice touch! ... I really cant say anything else

I have the same sentiments as everyone else on your background though. It's kind of plain. And I'm not thrilled about the color. If there were some sweets back there, I think that would make it more interesting. Please keep it up though! I love the idea!! *loves L* Great job!

I like how you edit this wallpaper. Try to add more furnitures, like table, chair, sofa, etc. Try to make him sitting on a chair!^^
