This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

A manga-ka is someone who draws/writes a manga. Anime artwork is pretty, but original manga artwork is absolutely gorgeous. My personal fave manga-kas are CLAMP, Kubo Tite, Arina Tanemura, and Konomi Takeshi, because their drawing styles are oh-so-distinct and awesome.

My favourites are Akira Toriama and Kishimoto (naruto), in terms of style I prefer the Akira Toriama drawings.

I love Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, Ai Yazawa, Shin Takahashi & more... Yas is the best artist in terms of drawing, but Yazawa's great too, and Shin Takahashi-sama makes me feel the story's pain (in Saikano).

Some how, Shounen Jump manga seems different from any other mangas in terms of style, which I like... The shading is usually more solid, and the lines are more sharp. I like Kishimoto (Naruto) and Kubotite (Bleach) in Jumps mangas. But in general, I prefer soft looking kind of manga like Mayumi Azuma (Eremental Gerad).

I'm a big fan of Hiro Mashima (rave) but I also like Kiyohiko Azuma(azumanga Daioh), Rando Ayanime (Get Backers) and Yuji Shiozaki (ikkitousen).

Masakazu Kastura for his wonderful art in all of his works
Kosuke Fujishima for his amazing art and character development and desings in all of his works
