This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Your background could use some work. The stock you've used has a rather obvious flock of birds flying past the camera... meaning now there is apparently birds flying about in space. The other thing that irks me is the way you've implimented the starfield. You have stars appearing in front of the moon... given the relative size of a star to the moon and their proximity this makes no sense. The colours from your star fields nebulas also realistically shouldn't be appearing superimposed over the moon either.

These issues aside your scan is clean and well extracted.

Hhhmmm...not bad...well...your background still needs some little fixing...then I suggest you lessen some star there in your scan.,...well..good luck on that!

The wallpaper is to colorful for me lol and the scan does need work and the background looks to realistic it dosent exactly match with the anime gundam wing chracters and then you added to many stars tot heir faces lol some say that less is more good luck!

Alright I went back and altered the background taking some of the advice given, lowering the amount of stars. I dont think I'm dont yet, I thought I'd post the new version and see what people think.

Here's what I think:
-okay...the stars aren't very good... the size is what I'm talkinga bout (and the shape--i don't think all of them are round o.O or is that just me?). go to deviantART and search up some nicer star brushes to use for the space scene
-the hearts look out of place unless you want to add some text, like "cagalli & lacus"
-the scan is quite nice, though i think lacus's hair is much too read (given that i have the original scan and i can compare it to what's here, i think you should go back to reajust those adjustment layers)
it's coming along, so good luck =D

Ok! The color saturation needs to be toned down a lot. Lacus's hair is so red it burns my eyes...its also looks like her hair gave them both a bad sunburn. That's pretty simple to fix. the Background...the stars need fixing and well I'll leave the rest the others...

Alright, I took a new aproch to it. I took some of the given advice and tried to give it a bedside picture frame look. makeing it look like the hearts were drawn on by a marker, I hope its getting there...

Third time's the charm, right? It's definitely looking up in your latest attempt, but since Imageshack doesn't work on my comp [ shoots screen] I can't give much more critique than that :\

Wow that looks a lot better my commendations to you. You've done a great job. Now try turning the brownish bit of water into the edge of a beach and then put a moon in and you'll be ready to submit it. I'll probably even add it to my favorites =)

I think I might have the beach done. Anyway, I think I'm done with it for tonight, I'll check back here once I get back from school.

I'd get a bigger moon and put it a little farther to the left and down just a tad bit... The sand just looks like the water just started turning yellow or there's a light coming from under Cagalli and lacus's feet. Try and put some texture to the sand and make it browner.

Well you must be the first person i've ever seen/met who tried to wall this scan with cagalli and lacus standing UP ^^ lol they look much better though, i must say. but i also have to ask: since it's night, what's the source of light that's making the two of them so darn bright? (don't answer it's lacus magic or their dazzling beauty -_-...but which is true) and a personal opinion but if I were doing this wall, I'd tilt the moon. i dont know why but i find it nicer tilted =/ haha ^^; props for the nice improvements!

Yea I realize they are really bright for the scene. I darkend the render down a lot, not sure how it looks now. I'll let you guys decide.
