This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Your point?

Peoples need common sense, people who don't have that were stupid.

That's an urban legend. we all know common sense doesn't exist.

I really want to make the background more creative, but I'm fresh out of ideas. Anybody have any?

I love chibi-ginji sooo cuute!!

But gotta be honest right, this one does look like a first timer's job just because it's very 'regular' and 'neat' which makes it look like too easy and you've put in little effort in it.

Got a suggestion for you. Have a giant ginji right in the middle and have chibi-ginjis sprouting, climbing, running, etc interacting with the giant ginji. I reckon this would make an uber cute wall :)

Alternative is to use a giant ban-chan with little ginjis annoying him out of his snake skin :)

The challenge would be to make all the ginjis look like they belong in the same dimension i.e. doesn't look like cutout and glue-on job. Colours and lighting needs to be consistent as well to make it believable.

Got another idea for you. Write 'ginchan' or something like that with abosultely massive font, taking a good portion of the screen, then have little ginjis running around, climbing, crying, doing stuff - painting, graffiti, kicking, punching the text.

That would make a really cute wall as well I reckon :)

Well, good luck, hope to see much of chibi-ginji wallpaper sometime soon!

Btw, how do you make image thumbnails in the forums? I don't mean avatars, I mean the thumbnail preview of your wall.

Thank you so much supermonchi! Those are really great ideas and I think I am going to have the words "The many adventures of Chibi Gin-chan" in huge letters and mini gins running around painting and graffiting etc.

Thanks loads!

By the way, for the thumbnails, you go to image shack (imageshack.us) and upload your images. Then a screen comes up with a bunch of ways to link to your uploaded picture. 2 of them are thumbnails (the 2nd and 3rd ones). Just copy one of the links and paste it into your post or whatever and there ya go!

Hope to have helped and thanks for the wonderful ideas!

Hehe no problem, glad if my feedback helped :)

With the title, bear in mind that large fonts tend to make things difficult to read esp with long text, consider something shorter which is a lot more easy to read. But I might be overly cautious, try it and see how you go anyways.

Good luck with it all, looking forward to see what you come up with!
And merry xmas and a happy new year! ^^

I love the film strip Idea, I have implemented it in the past. The text is a little small and difficult to read. Also, some texture oppose to a plain background would be good. Maybe like a camera or table or something. maybe the table at the cafe they work at.

The text and background are too plain, and i agree with supermonchi about pretty much everything
