what to do?

So I've had this vector wasting away on my hard drive forever.
I really want to wall this, but as you can see, it's a huge vector, so I don't know what to do with the BG,
I tried shrinking it down and blocking the wall off into squares, kinda pop-arty, and that looked ok, but when I tried to make silhouettes with some of the bleach girls, they fell short, so anyways, I'm asking for opinions on this, cuz I have no idea how to turn this into a wall.

Oh this one! x] well, i remember saying a long time ago that you need to fix some lines, because the shape layer outlines and the stroke outlines just don't quite go together perfectly...i also remember you saying you slacked off about something...*scratches head* but i don't quite exactly recall.
anyway, since this is such a close up, there isn't much of a bg to develop...maybe put an image of the beach girls in the white heart of his sigh? and then make the blue fill into a nice sky? =| i'm not sure. but because this is a close up, your vector has to be absolutely perfect. ;P

Well, in that kind of scan, it will really be hard to put a bg...I also have a wall that has a close up scan, you can check it out in my userpage...
well, maybe for the bg, you should put a cloud on top , i think its kinda odd to put some beach girls because he was very close up, i think its better to put the girls if he was far enough and there is a space where you could put the girls...well, just try it...but, my close up wall is different from your because of the scan...just take a look, you might get an idea :)

I really like the idea of the beach witth the girls . I really like the vector and the expression . Might i ask what you used to vector the scan ?Very nicely done.

@asa... I know, i wish I would have planned more before I started this vector, and after I posted this I went back and fixed the chin line, I guess I will eventually have to go back and re-shape the other lines, but I wanna make sure I'm on my way to submitting a wall before I do this.
@mifuelle... I saw that wall that you did.. looks nice! I was thinking of that kind of abstract background myself...

erm, ok, I also just wanted to post this other version, in very rough stages, the pop-arty one, problem is I'm not really sure how to vector things into silhouettes, honestly it sounds a lot harder than it is, if they are gonna be detailed enough to recognize who they are...
please keep in mind it's just for you to get an idea of what I was thinking, I'm gonna vector nanao if I decide to go this route, just for a visual.

Abstract would work nicely, i think. (i'm sorry but on first look, i didn't like the pop arty one's thumbnail that much. =/) but with the abstract one, i hope it does not ever fall prey to the usual condition of abstract walls: a bunch of arrows/circles/whatever vector brushes brushed over a background and ta-da, done. but considering you, you wall to your own unique style/taste (except for that one wall where you admitted you did it because you knew it would get accepted) ;P
what you have there with the squares and circles is a nice start, though be more careful and center the circles in between your squares. hope to see more from ya! and here's the bump. can't believe nobody replied to you for sixteen hours. ><

Hey asa, thanks for the faith in me. lol. as you know I really hate brush walls, I've come to terms with it though by promising to only make my own brushes.

You're welcome! ^^ yeah, i suppose this wall is a bit hard to comment on. and tsk tsk, don't go cheap with the birds + clouds thing! that doesn't sound like the melly i know. ;P
anyway, thought i'd point out some stuff by doing this:
there could be other stuff, but yeah. i'm sorry i'm not as "mean" as you could be. xD and in addition to that, i think people would find the eyes strange though, and only we know the story behind that. =P

lol, I'll try to fix it soon, I wanted to see if I could really make a background for it first.

The blue doesn't go that well with it. and sorry about saying pointy so many times xD, by the way. back to the wall. the squares brush is nice, but don't have it end in the middle of the wall. as to the many circles brush, i'm not so sure about it. it kind of looks...erm, can't put my finger on it. but it's...okay, i give trying to find a reason to why i think it doesn't look wonderfully amazing. it's nice that you are playing off the colors of his clothes though!

Ha, you thought I was gonna let this one die didn't you?
anyways, I really haven't changed much in the sense of general layout, I went back in the vector and fixed a few points though, didn't do all that was suggested,
and I messed around a little more with the bg, I took out the black circly things and added a texture.
I will eventually submit this wall.
I really really really wish there was something more I could do with the bg though.

Hey doods... I've got a pretty NICE idea...
Why not keep in mind the beach girl idea... But with a more realist view?? :D
Yeah I know I'm always having SO MUCH FUN letting you read me cause I like to get a little suspense in my post on Melly's walls! :D
So let's get into the point... Why not just make a girl's hand caressing his face with the tips of her fingers... You know? Like really soft touch but REALLY hard pressure on the guy... In anime it's always the second before the nose starts to bleed :D
Cause I'm really not a fan of abstract background... And with the cloud and the hand I guess you'll be all set...
Hope I got it clear in your mind... I can draw a little scrap for you Melly if you don't see what I mean! :p
