After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I am indeed well aware that the dimensions are a tad too small. If the community likes my wallpaper I will be willing to make it the correct size.

Well, there it is.

Whoops my bad.
I got 2 versions now. Both essentially the same with one character flipped.

I like the flying pieces but the background doesn't suit them and the chibis at the bottom I don't think are necessary. First version of the character is better and you'd better vector the characters for the best quality. I'm not sure about the logo though, I guess it depends on how you make the background.

Good luck!

How exactly do I "vector"? I didn't know what to do for a background, so I took a frame out of the anime. Looks like I should find a better frame. The logo is the official logo, which is why I didn't really want to make my own.

This is an interesting wall. I like it. I like the first version though with the girl facing outwards. You can probably remove the chibis at the bottom as was mentioned though. You can google for some vector tutorials. Im trying to learn how to do it myself at the moment. All in all its a neat wall and I think it will turn out great if you work with it just a bit more. Can't wait to see the final version. Good luck! .(n_n). emoticon

Heya :)
I think you really need to start with the resolution :o Its hard for us to judge quality when its scaled down. Can everything be scaled up without looking pixelated?

A lot of your wallpaper looks really hard to vector, not a task I'd recommend someone who's never vectored before, so we can't rely on that to increase quality.

Not sure. I think I can make a 1440 x 900 which is my desktop PC. The one thats in the links is for my laptop.

There are great tutorials on vectoring on deviantART.com, explaining it here would take too long xD Vectoring is a bit hard at first but it'll give you the best quality. I'm not quite a pro at it myself. If you don't think you'll be able to do it now, you can look for ready made vectors here on AP or anywhere online.

Is vectors like renders?

Yes!! The only difference is that a vector is usually a high quality image and a render is usually an extracted image and it's not necessarily vectored. A vector is when you trace over the image in Photoshop or any other program. It doesn't have to be traced, it can refer to the style of coloring. Just go to the scan section here on AP and click on any anime and type "vector" in the search box and you'll see some examples.

Sorry if I sound too confusing ^^;

If I were to vector, how exactly would I "trace" my renders in photoshop?

`Nysha is providing a wonderful vector tutorial.
You can find it here: http://missnysha.deviantart.com/art/The-Ultimate-Vectoring-Guide-129303185

Hope that helps ^^

Aside from that problem there are a few more. First the file format: We only accept jpeg so make sure to upload the right format. The background is a bit too croweded with the pics in it an the stones above. Also the logo doesn't really make sense here and looks out of place. The required signature is also missing!

X.X Vectoring looks hard.
As for the other comments you told me about, I was going to fix that up in the final version, but thanks for telling me. Now I got a little checklist! With the logo, I wanted to have something that told the viewer where the characters were from. I thought that the easiest way to do so, was to put the series logo on it.

The viewer will see which series the characters are from cause you're uploading it into the series category ^^

Well, about vectoring. It's hard yes but try it. Maybe you have a special talent for that and it will be easy for you ^^
