Shakugan no SHna Series starts~!
I've only watched up until the second episode as of yet, but so far I like what I see. The fact that the first episode had so much "recap" did bother me a little, but the episode did a good job of reminding me that Yuuji isn't your average useless male lead. I can't wait to see what Hecate's case is – I'm hoping to get episodes 3 and 4 next week!
As an interesting side-note, when I heard the new character Mare speak her first lines, I could have sworn she was voiced by Ryouka Yuzuki. Much to my surprise, it turned out to be Sanae Kobayashi (Lucy from Elfen Lied). Though in the second episode I could hear clearly that it wasn't Yuzuki.
And for some reason I just can't count ole Shana among Rie Kugimiya's other cuties. To me, she just sounds like Kamyu with a temper problem and a bad cold.

The 1st episode's recap bothered me too, but its fine.

Shakugan no Shana seems to have started out kinda slow, but it's starting to pick up with todays ep 5.
Side note: Although Yuji needs to start becoming more aware of his situation...arghghgh ...someone tell him already cause it doesn't seem like he's going to figure it out soon.

They are high schoolers, (or perhaps elementary students?). This season is relatively different conmpared to the first. Season 2 seems more in-depth and slowly reaching the plot , whereas season 1 had to action to it.

The subbers are doing a great job, subs perfectly. Your-mom subs are the worst in my opinion but still understandable.

Maybe we will get a little action tomorrow, and go back from Harem no shana to shakugan no shana. This arc is getting really old and annoying fast.
