I just don't really understand why she wants to *spoiler*
sacrifice her life in order to be "useful" to yuuji. its not as if summoning pheles will necessarily save yuuji.

I loved the first season of Shakugan no Shana, but this second season is a real let down. I expected more than 1-2 episodes that could be considered "action-packed" and the whole romance/drama thing is starting to wear me out. This love triangle plot is getting old fast, and there isn't much time left in the season to save this anime.
Im gonna have to agree, the first few eps with that hecate doll (forgot her name) were really mopey, but it got better when pheles came into the picture. YOSHIDA 
is the most pointless plot development ever introduced and i think that the fan favorite is shana (duh). her unnecessary thinking really pisses me off.

For me, yoshida adds colour to the story, by the love triangle of hers. but, in the end I'd much prefer to see her with Ike rather than dead and never existed.
Front part of sns2 focuses on character development, however things had been getting exciting lately.

I for one really like Yoshida sure she is whiny and annoying at times but she is just a girl in love an a war she does not need but still wants to be there for the one she loves namely Yuji.
She is annoying and whiny since she knows that Yuji likes Shana more that is evident all the way through second series so far.
Yoshida is an integraded part of Shana story line without her Shana would not be the same, I like her a lot although I am rooting for Shana and Yuji, Shana still my fav.

Ugh shes kind of annoying isn't she? i think i'd like her much more with Ike than with Yuji. but still, i'd like for her to stick around. i just don't want to see her using "that" item.
I'm just waiting for Yoshida to use that cross Pheles gave her >.> Then she'll die and we can forget about her needless character. She's just there for the sake of being there, she's pretty annoying to whenever she opens her mouth.

Mmm. I just want Yoshida to use that cross too and just get it over with so that we can stop having 15 second periods of Yoshida just staring at the thing. -.-
Lol Well, she doesn't use it in the end. But I was so hoping that she would realize by herself that she will ultimately get rejected by Yuji. She is still hoping for that glimmer of a chance that he will pick her and I don't think that will ever happen, because now he now has eyes for Yuji.
She should move onto Ike, especially considering he went right out and confessed to her. But in a way, it might feel like she is just picking him as second choice because she gets rejected by Yuji and I don't think that would be fair to Ike at all.
