Well..the ending of season 2 was pretty open..all the main enemys are still there..so yeah..i hope season 3 will come soon :D

Idk, for some reason, manga hasn't been posted online for a while, and its unclear that they'll even make another season for the anime. :( Hopefully the manga gets posted online and the novels do, too. but its always good for another season of the anime to come out, cuz shakugan no shana was an epic series.
Hope the 3rd season will be better than the 2nd.
Awhile back (few months ago) it was posted on Itou Noizi's personal site that she'll be doing a third season of Shana, since she's got projects in progress she didn't go into guesses as to when production might start. Also read an interview with one of the producers that they had originally (long term) planned to do 5 season's of Shana and Tsukaima no Zero.
Personally I can't see any reason to have more than 3 seasons of Shana, 24 eps is plenty of time to fill in missing content and tie up all the loose ends. Tsukaima on the other hand being only 13 eps I can see easily doing 5 since their story arcs don't really fit well into a single season.

Zomg, seriously! animated is still better then manga!! i'll be waiting for the next action-pack + romance shana&yuji! PS* Yuji is getting stronger (:
Omg yah ... they are going to make the 3rd season soon i thought, but we have to wait T_T and like someone says before, the story is pretty open so, they have to come with another season, and more if you see that Shakugan no Shana is a popular anime series.. but i dont know.. cause Full Metal Panic, was good and popular but they didnt go for the 3rd season T_T i'm still waiting for it

I loved watching the first two seasons. It's one of my favorites. I was hoping that they'd have a third season after how they left season two. I can't wait to what the upcoming season. I'm so excited!

Third season? Oh I just hope for the good of the people that they finally scr*w Yoshida off Yuuji and give Shana a decent development, I mean it's so damn totally clear the pairing will be Yuuji x Shana but holy crap it's been 2 seasons already. Look at how fast Zero no Tsukaima (similar cast even)'s main characters developments took place, hell even 12 episodes was enough to establish Saito loves Louise. Please Yoshida, we have no more need of your screentime-whoring thing, Shana lacks romantic screentime (not screentime in terms of action) to and from Yuuji

There was a pretty big gap between the first and the second season so I wouldn't be surprised that if there is a third season that it'll take a while to get to it.
