Have you ever missed school even though you weren't sick?Why?
It happened to me once but It was for a very important reason. I swear it was important. Our project in English was to make a book report about any book as long as it has been approved by my english teacher. I started really early but then I forgot some of the important things from the book which is why I had to read parts of it again. I only had one day left before we had to submit it. Unfortunately I was too tired to continue and decided to make it when I wake up. I set my alarm for 4am. I wasn't able to finish it. I didn't want to go to school because if I submitted it on the next day I would be given a deduction, our teacher said the number of days that we are late will be given a minus 10 each day. She's evil, which is why I had to be absent. Plus, I had a lot of other things left unfinished due to the stupid book report. I tried to barf to pretend to be sick but I couldn't so I told my mother the truth and she allowed me to be absent. She's an angel. She wrote as an excuse that I had a stomachache. It was my fault for being irresponsible but I promised I wouldn't do it again. Hehe... What about you? Did that ever happen to you? XD

Happened also to me loads of times.
One would be, i got left by the bus and i just couldnt be asked to catch the next and go to class therefore i was basically absent.
Other times are when im watching anime or playing Ragnarok Online and the show/game is getting so good that i also cannot be bothered to go to college.
The third one, well its not really being absent but sorta cuz if our classes end at 4:30pm, and its only 12:00 and im already hungry and have no money...i go home and eat and tell myself ill just catch the bus and then be back before the next class (i do this during the lunch break) but then i watch anime for a bit or play Ragnarok Online and then it gets too good so i just decide not to go back anymore
man the temptations...so unlike you...i have no good reason XD

Oh dear God, yes, and it's usually hilarious every time. :D Usually it's because we have family affairs elsewhere (like, um, going to the beach or something). Once I missed school because I stayed home to finish a project - at least I'd have an excuse for not passing it on that day, which was the deadline. But the funniest time was just after a short vacation: my parents forgot we had classes on that day, and they didn't wake me and my bro up! XD
Haha..Your parents forgot to wake you up! I wish that happened to me. Just kidding. XD

Plenty of times! to many times probably XD. I don't really remember the reasons why. That's to many excuses to rememer LOL. The one thing I could never understand is..why wag school, when it was easier for me to just fake a sicky and stay home lol. I know it sounds horrible, but I did it often! Some years in highschool, I really didn't want to be there, some years I loved! Not that my parents didn't care that I was at school or not, they were pretty strict when it came to that, but when I was 'sick', they just couldn't let me suffer at school lol.
There were also days when they just let me stay home, but I guess they were actually legitemate reasons when I actually wasn't sick lol

Lol, it depends. Sometimes because I'd to pass the driving test, sometimes because it's the end of the school year (and I don't wanna see teachers' faces) or sometimes because I'm late -_-'
Um... yea, number of times. Mostly because I did not feel like going there! XD
We have to have a min attendance of 75% so I always used to take one day off in a week even though I wasn't ill!! This was to keep me sane for my maddening classes!!
I really used to have a hectic schedule on Wednesdays and also had 3 hours of my least fav subject which was taught by my least fav teacher! So i made it a point to take leave on that day.. I coped up by studying on my own ..

XD *Whew* It feels weird not going to school when your not sick but I guess some people really don't like going there. Haha.. So many temptations.

Hmm lets see if i miss school well i missed it a lot one year i had almost skipped more then all the pupils toghether and it wasnt for an important reasons i just didnt feal like it (and if you are wondering yes i passed all my classes) it's just to borring there :P :))
Back in University, students are allotted a specific number of absences (excused and unexcused are counted one and the same) where the professor would down right fail you in his/her subject should you exceed it. I always made sure to use every last bit of my absences before end of term even if I don't have a good reason to miss out on class. My worst reason was to watch Naruto in the morning and I don't even like Naruto.
Yeah, i missed a lot of school days during my high school days. It was frequent during my senior days, due to a lot of projects and portfolios T_T even though those projects were tough, i guess i kinda liked them...somehow n_n;
I've only missed school when my uncle died. I wanted to go to school but I was to either go to the ceremony or stay home and watch the house.
YUp,i have,more than one,i missed school for no reason,just dont feel like want to study for that day,for the sake of fun.I skipped scholl for a few times,climbed out of school once,but,of course,i wouldnt skip school too often,i will control myself,I dont want to get caught either.Anyway,is not a big deal,i m pretty there will be some other did the same thing as me.
