This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Usually I dislike words, but I think in this case I prefer it.
Just my opinion, because I find it a little difficult to recognize him otherwise.

You not rights.
In last time I like walls with unusual textures, which possible value if only consider original resolution of image. Wall with texture is more alive and beautiful than sterile vector image. On my wall is not seen lines since they meet with background, and I specially has intensified texture :/
Original resolution of my wall = 1920x1200

Filters aren't the only way to use texture. And I have to agree with Rukawa, this filter looks bad. There are many websites out on the Internet where you can find textures, such as Desktop Anime and DeviantArt.
The filter also distorts the image, especially in the area toward the eyes. I can't make out Mugen, and you've completely gotten rid of any possible plays with color.

I adore negative space, but you need to have something in the black area. A pattern or texture will do, but you need something.
Mugen doesn't blend into the background either, which gives a cut and paste feel which is neither liked nor favored. Smooth out the edges with a layer mask, or try blending.

I hope this helps. You can still create a fantastic wallpaper without being overly dependent on filters.

wrong, vectoring is to clean small scans that can't be used directly as wallpaper, unless you will remake something, like change some element.

its stupid someone pass through the pain of vectoring to leave the wall as grainy as the scan

about the wall, that filter is the most ugly that can be used. unless if used with moderation.
with that filter you can make a normal image, like photo or something look paintlike. but you abused on it

Needs more substance to it. The plain filter on it just won't do. You could try having some type of graffiti pattern on a wall maybe and having the character sketched on the wall in a pattern? Something like a pattern graffiti foreground to background integration I suppose. Using one filter on an image is hardly putting forth any effort. Just experiment a little. If you want texture, you probably want some form of textured background or at least something that blends well with it. I still think the graffiti idea would go along with your style though. Good luck.
