Possessed X-Boxes
An interesting phenomenon occured today from the decrepid and possesed demon machine that resides in my boyfriend's bedroom. On the green options screen before any games start if you put the volume up you hear all these strange sounds that are all swooshy and sound like people talking sometimes...Well anyway, I was joking around that the X-Box was possessed and my boyfriend hugged me and said "Oh honey, you know that's not true...you just need to learn to use it to your advantage"And then I KID YOU NOT the whispery voice thing behind me said "Use to your advantage" CLEAR AS DAY not even whispering but SPEAKING and I swear to god I almost jumped straight out of my skin...I was like "It's possessed! Possessed!"Um...has anyone else ever heard things coming ouf of their X-Box or am I just insane? xD
I thought i was the only one hearing voices... T-T but i've never heard it repeat anything.. O_o wouldn't this go in Video Game Pad though?

I'm not really sure...I don't go in there much 'cause I'm not really a gamer so I was under the impression that it would just be for game discussion *shruggu* I thought evil possesed appliances would be more fit under general discussion xD But you're probally rightNow if you'll excuse me *proceeds to sprinkle holy water on the console*
The BIOS always has the background noise unless you're in the MUSIC section. Likewise, the PS2's BIOS has wind and the 'Cube's has some wavy, synthesized sound. Yes, it's possessed. You better hire an exorcist and make sure that he's European. Chinese exorcism doesn't work on inanimate objects. <!--emo&:P--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo-->Yes, I have heard voices and such in the background noise of the Xbox. I think it's just a bunch of ambient noise.ORIt could be just like that movie White Noise. I heard that movie wasn't all that scary.

Lol...kinda made me curious but none of my friends have an xbox..wonder if my ps2 will make that noise if i listen long enough..

That's pretty freaky.. I think I've heard voices, but I doubt it's anything like the stuff in white noise. I don't believe in that stuff. I find it stupid =P Of course, if it replied you might wantr to get some help for you or the xbox...maybe go to couseling together? ^^

Well I only bought a BOX for DOA 3 <!--emo&:)--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> Day 1 I turned it on and was freaked out by that shitty whiny noise coming from the little internal fan.. Day 2 I opened it and replaced the fan and man, I never felt more happy using a saw to cut away some of the internal parts. a very therapeutic experience.. <eg> Day 3 .. wha? you can only play games with it .. it's a fricking PC...Day 4 Softmodded it and replaced the HDD ..
