Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

So yeah, I've seen the common American style music here with the Blink 182 and stuff. I've seen the rap type "music" (won't get into that that's a whole 'nother topic) topics here. I've see the J-Pop and style sub-boards here. I'm wondering if there are any dance/electronica/tracne listeners here. I'll start off by mentioning or should I say recommending a few good artists. First up is Bob Sinclar from Paris, France. The man is mostly a House Tech artist who came out with his Western Dream CD just last year that climbed into the Top 10 in the UK for Dance with his two singles Love Generation and World, Hold On. Many other songs on the CD are also well known like Give A Little Love. Next up I wanna shout out to Christopher Lawrence from Los Angeles, California. The man's consistently in the Top 10 in DJ Magazine's yearly Top 100 DJs, the official ranking of global DJs around the world. I just finished listening to his mix from Buenos Aries last night from this past March and he did a superb job there. Third I wanna mention Pete Tong from the UK. Tong has been around the dance seen oh probably since about 1991. The man runs three dance shows a week for BBC Radio 1, on top of annually hosting a summer long gig at the Ibiza club in England, where he'll invite special guests to help mix with him every friday night into saturday morning. The man is practically a DJ legend. Finally I wanna shout out to one of the more popular DJs out there a name a lot of people have heard of and that is Paul van Dyk from Germany. PvD was ranked the top DJ in the world my DJ Magazine in 2002, 2004, and 2006. He's the most known DJ out there today because he's simply a beast on the decks live, and also a stunning performer album wise in the studio. This man lives up to the hype and the fandom as his Politics of Dancing CDs are practically always in the 5-CD changers of major dance listeners around the world. So with that I wanna open up discussion on upcoming artists, events, singles, and other stuff in relation to the world of Dance music.

Well I listen to dance and I guess trance. I love listening to it when I just wanna dance or something. I don't know much about it (like artists and stuff) but whatever I hear sounds good is fine for me.

Daft Punk is like a god in the electro world. That's easily said. David Vandetta is really good, I like him but haven't heard him lately. As for the others (except for Tiesto of course) I'll have to look into them. Thanks for mentioning them though.

I love me some good electronica. Im not too much of a fan of european dance music, but vocal trance can be very beautiful. I used to love the stuff a few years ago but I turned away from it, but it will always hold a special place in heart. In fact I think I'll listen to some right now.

I bet you it was a song mixed by a European DJ. American DJing has really always taken a beat seat to the European style of vocal, progressive, and general trance music, especially the house tech that really developed there off of its American spawning. The thing about the house tech and whole electronica category was that it was crated by the Americans, but perfected by the Europeans. And no, trance, electroinca, and house tech are not the same as Techno. Techno was born out of the motor city in the 1970s. The actual general genre of Techno is Jazz with Electronic Synthesizers thrown in to mix a beat with the Jazz. That's not electronica. Just though I might throw that out there since I know a lot of the general public over here doens't know the difference between Trance, Electronica, House Tech, and Techno.

Not a lot songs out there that are in this genre are that good when they're with vocals but a lot of game music with this genre is really good.

I love listening to Trance, Candy, House, and basically anything else out there, but I would like to request some good Trance and Candy artists. I want something that makes me want to stand up and rave in the middle of a school bus!|(n_n)| emoticon

I listen to almost all types of electronic dance music. I'm totally into Goa-Psy, Jungle, and Hard Dance. For some good Goa I would have to go with the majors first obviously, Yahel and Infected Mushroom. Of which I would have to go with early Infected mushroom and later Yahel tracks. Good luck really breaking it down to I Wish, good luck trying to resist breaking it down to Acid Killer. I guess they went a little bit more mainstream, instead of sticking with dance. Other smaller artists would def have to be Astral Projection, Bonky, MFG, and Logarythm. They tend to run awesome singles. As for Jungle definitely Leon Switch all the way, his stuff is pretty consistent. I wish I could get more of his songs. Generally anything that doesn't have happy sounding melodies I prefer. If anyone wants to stop by and listen to me hopelessly throw tracks together PM me with instant messenger information. If anyone would enlighten me on internet radio sites besides di.fm that are reliable, I would appreciate it sooo much.

Worst experience ever...
Having to listen to hip-hop that had a four on the floor hi-hat with a snare on the third beat using a bad drum machine, and not changing drum machine between songs. ( T_T)/ emoticon

The Streamripper program is good, then take basically all of the Digitally Imported stations on Shoutcast Radio which you can access easily through Winamp and burn internet radio to mp3s. I do want to come back to what you said though and state that yeah Infected Mushroom and Yahel are pretty freaking amazing. I got one song from Yahel from a friend like four years ago and was like: "Ok where do I get more of him." Digitally Imported carries some nice live mixes from the past like a good Tiesto mix from Buenos Aries from back in March, or a sick Christopher Lawrence one from back in 04. They also carry Ferry Costen around midnight on some day (I forget which day it is), and he does a Top 10 countdown that he remixes over the air live on some nights. tranceaddict.com used to be a great place for trance set downloads but they've gotten more and more infrequent with their updates and their forums have died a little that it's not the best site. If those fail there's always Frostwire (not AIDS infested Limewire, Frostwire here people). I'm sure you can find some of the albums and songs on there.
