Ever been inspired by Anime?
Well my question is:
Have you ever been inspired by anthing anime related?
Like maybe you watched Air Gear and decided to get a pair of rollerblades and start doing tricks. Anything of that sort.
For me, I was watching Bamboo Blade and thought to myself that I should take up kendo as well. I looked up the different places in my area that had kendo and found only two. Great. One was too far and the other was nearly full. In early march I signed up and was told that the classes were full for that month, so I was registered to start in May ^^
I found that the equipment are quite expensive knew it was gonna punch a gigantic whole in my pocket -.- But I still intend to start practicing on my own as soon as its warm enough to go outside in my backyard =D

As you are, I think I was inspired by anime or manga.
I played basketball in Junior High, back then I watched and also read Slam Dunk, as the story goes on, I got myself influenced by it and started practicing basketball more and more.
I believe anime inspires a lot of people. When people like the stories, they tend to do as the stories, well, at least that is for me.
Is it really the only thing that get us inspired? what do you think?
Wow, you are really inspired into Kendo? That's good. Anime inspires people to take sports or something which is good.
Just hope people don't get influenced by the bad things, such as ecchi or the crimes.

I used to be really scared of cockroaches (sad, isn't it?) and I couldn't even crush them with my shoes. And as I was reading Vagabond I was amazed with Musashi's courage and it really inspired me and now i love killing cockroaches lol.
Tenjho Tenge totally made me want to take up martial arts :) So did every other fighting series, now that I think about it...Even though I know that, -obviously-, most of the stuff they do is highly impossible in real, non-animated life, I still think it would be neat to learn how to fight for real.
INITIAL D. That anime changed the way I viewed driving and took up to practice driving with different techniques.
I haven't done anything, but animes like Kanon and Air really inspire me to make movies or anything that represents a visual story in a dramatic manner, and try to make it as sad as possible, because you gotta admit...a TV show, anime or movie that makes people cry is something the producers should be really proud of. That made me think of what I could do with my future. As an animator, I would definitely like to try to help animate scenes that require CG etc or any kind of visual effect in any movie or show that has that kind of element. Not a lot of TV shows have drama in them these days, it's mostly action and comedy, at least here in North America.
Anime at one point inspired me to draw when I was in middle school, but that was all I did was draw, I never tried to do anything like make my own manga or try to incorporate any form of storytelling into my drawings because I wasn't smart enough to realize that if I had done that, my motivation for drawing anime/manga would've skyrocketed, and that's why I stopped drawing anything anime-related since then.
Lots of scenes in action animes have helped me make movies of my own, like choosing which was the best camera angle from which position and what I was filming etc., but Initial D has the greatest impact since it shows how much to learn in driving well.

Air Gear inspired me to relearn how to inline skate.
Air Gear inspired me to relearn how to inline skate.
Air Gear inspired me to relearn how to inline skate.
Oh i learned ALOT !! XD Ill start from the way beginning when it inspired me
DBZ first inspired me like to never give up when things seem like its not in your favor , it made me want to have super awesome muscles too , this was when i was very young , instead of actually pretending playing DBZ like the other kids , i started basic work outs , like sit ups , push ups , whatever i could find around the house 8D
Naruto taught me around the same thing as DBZ , it taught me more about friendship and being noble , stuffs like that :3 , which would be nice if alot of the people in my area actually knew that meaning , YuGiOh shows that meaning of friendship as well
Initial D .. made me wanna drive so much , my friend started teaching me all kinds of information on car parts , what they all do , and what purpose they have in the car , there functions and so fore , and now i have alot of respect for people who drive stick shift , cause doing that it pretty damn hard , while if you race with it
Then Gundam 00 , Setsuna was a idol for me , and for the other characters in the show , to move forward on what your heart believes , ill never forget that :3
Anime in General , since most series shows this , like tells me like o-Rinchan888 says , that we must cherish things , especially before there gone , because youll never know what will happenin the future

Yes, i have been inspired by anime or manga! I tried to get everyone to agree on wearing school uniforms! because i think they so awesome! But no one wants to. No one seems to like them! So i tried to get a petition and everything but only like three people signed it, so i ddin't turn it in.
In other ways i was watching Full Metal Alchemist and i was absolutely inspired to change my look! I thought the braid thing was nifty, so i tried it out and wore my hair in a braid everyday. It wasn't cool to anybody except like one person.
Another way i was recently watching Lucky Star, and i saw the cheerleading episode/dance. And i really wantewd to try that. So i did, i tried out fot the cheerleading squad, in my school...i made it! Yay. that was awesome. And i got a whole bunch of people to do the acualy full dance thing that they do in Lucky Star, for a talent conest. We acually did it. We looked awesome, ad we didnt win, but at least we tried!
I have also learned new things, like language, and different cultural things!
Anime inspires me so much everyday of my life. It inspired me to do things differently, inspires me to draw things, inspires me to change something about myself to look more unique!

Umezu Kazuo's horror manga Hyouryuu Kyoushitsu inspired me to watch J-horror. I still watch J-horror (and their atrocious American remakes) to this day. The atmosphere that the Japanese create in their horror mangas and movies really is suspensful and very unlike the cheap scares that are prevalent in the effects-laden movies made by Hollywood. I still watch American horror movies but they don't scare me.
For me..when I've known anime..I started wanting to be an animator or something like related to professions relation to computer world..hehe..so I prefer to take up I.T.
hope I can do what I wanted to..^_^

Every now and again watching Anime will inspire me to pick up a pen and write. Then again so do books. Looking at the interesting storylines others have been able to put together usually gets my juices flowing about the one in my head, even if they are completely different in many ways.
I have been inspired by the determination of Uzumaki Naruto....
I had thought that if he can have that kind of determination, why shouldn't I..
so, I try doing something as best as I can...
And never give up...
