Weird habits and pet peeves
We all have them. Something completely off the wall that you do without really thinking about it or something that disturbs the time bomb ticking inside of you. Weird habits and pet peeves. To start you off, here's some of mine--
Habit:
I've recently noticed (though, apparently I've been doing it for a while) that I switch back and forth between using "this one" and "I." I don't mean just while I'm on the computer, either. I do it when I talk to people. Constantly.
Pet peeve:
I hate it when people use internet lingo in spoken conversation. Example; Two people are talking, one says something worthy of a laugh and the one listening says "lol"..... Why don't they just freakin laugh??...@_@... I can get doing that when you're trying to make something sarcastically funny, but, honestly people... use your brain. It's there for reason. They have laptops now if you want to talk like that outside the desk.
Anywho, What've you all got for me? Give me something interesting. But, remember, keep it clean. There are children and rules around here.

Habit: Whenever I'm nervous, I start kinda pulling at my hair a bit...trying to make it smooth almost. I don't notice it until one of my friends makes fun of me and does it back, and then I stop and get angry at them. XD
Pet peeve: I can't stand it when people don't wash their hands. I am a clean freak, and when people don't wash their hands after they use the bathroom, or eat, or stuff like that it creeps me out and gets me all worked up and upset. Not to mention ticks me off. >_< And those are the people in the store touching the shopping carts, and doors, and everything like that.

My weirdest habit is that if I see peeling paint, I want to pull it off. This is possibly due to various underlying emotions.
I have a lot of pet peeves. The other day, my friend ordered a pizza with mushrooms on half, and then she didn't even eat the mushroom half! That really bothered me.

Weird habit: I catch myself doing moronic things to pass time occasionally when I'm bored. At my desk at work, I tried repeatedly to drive a staple through a 31 page report using just a single hand to squeeze the stapler. Whenever I failed, I had to pry out the bent staple with scissors from the stapler and try again. When I realized I was doing this after 5 tries and how it would look to anyone who saw me, I stopped.
Pet peeve: Ritualistic conversation thats repeated multiple times per day. "Hi, how was your weekend?" "Good. And yours?" "Good." Grr... shut up and stop wasting my time and attention with insincere formalities.

Habit: hmmm..I would say that whenever I take an exam I would say very quietly the number of the question..I dunno why I do that >.> I guess it just makes me concentrate more... Another habit which is a bad habit is daydreaming..if something bores me for 1 minute! I start to daydream...
Pet Peeve: I work at a fast food restaurant..so I take care of hundreds of customers a day..but the ones that piss me off the most are the ones that take like 10 min to make a decision! arghh

The really only habit I have is tapping my fingers I do it all the time.

A random habit, I poke things. Just sometimes. It's my poke of DOOM!

Hear, hear! They just look... stupid. Coincidence? I think not.

Indeed. Insincere sincereties (<- paradox?) make me want to rip out their vocal cords and strangle them.
Habit: I bite my lips frequently.
Peeve: Having someone stinky sit next to me on the bus (when there's a lot of empty seats).

My Habits: talking in random Japanese. I'm taking Japanese in school right now, along with my two best friends, and I always accidentally insert Japanese words into English sentences, or just say the Japanese phrase instead. For example, yesterday when I was at the mall, this little kid ran nearly ran into me. Instead of telling him to be careful, I told him "ki wo tsukete", which is Japanese for "be careful".
I also tend to bow when I thank people.
I am a perfectionist when it comes to manga shopping. If a manga is ripped or bent the slightest bit, I will not buy it. And I nearly have a heart attack whenever someone opens my manga too wide and bends the spine. I want my manga as perfect as I can get them to be.

My habits: Washing my hands constantly XP Smiling to everyone who passes by me I don't even know I'm doing it, and saying sorry even if it was the other persons fault.
Peeves: Well I don't like people talking to me or asking me questions when I'm watching TV or doing homework, I don't know why but I just hate it. Also when I'm talking to someone and they are looking away. When someone says "Hey was up!?" and I say "Not much", just to come again 5 minutes later asking me the same question.

I hate it when people are making fun of someone who doesn't live up to their standards, and treat him/her like an outkast... I hate it when people have prejudice about people who love Japanimation and Videogames, and that they are not treated as "from their point of view" normal human beings.
I hate people who have a grudge against other cultures and think selfish about their own culture.
I hate politicians in general....

Habit: Heres a weird habit. people usually tabs me on the shoulder out of no where. Im not sure if my brain is functioning right... but i hit the person in a way that makes it look like its a self defensive punch!My reflex just acts up when ever somebody tabs me when im not knowing they're there.
Pet peeve: Dont you people hate it when somebody just yells at you when your 2 feet away from them?!
Pisses me off, im not deaf for god sakes. I can hear perfectly well.

Habit: Sometimes I would just space out and it would seem like I'm staring at something even if it's nothing. Often times my friends think I'm staring at a guy and makes it seem like I have a lot of crushes.
Pet peeve: When people overuse sarcasm. People who use it too much and people who use it but you can't tell. >_<
