Remembering Tweety Bird as a girl...
When I was real small, I remember watching Bugs Bunny cartoons, and Tweety Bird with that [what I thought then] mean black cat always trying to eat her...well of course I thought it was a she, until that fateful day! I was watching my cartoons like a normal Saturday morning as a kid, and I saw Tweety Bird trying to woo a girl bird! My first thoughts were "OMG! IT'S A BOY!" I was too young to think Tweety to be lesbian =P! My siblings and I were all very shocked and I had this huge tweety bird stuffed toy that I played with as a MOTHER to other toys in my kingdom of stuffed toys! But I continued pretending Tweety to be a girl, no point in spoiling my fun!

I never really thought of genders..i just watch teh cartoons, my favortie characters from The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show were always Daffy Duck, Pepe le Pew, and that rooster guy..i can remember his name!

Yeah i don't really observe genders in cartoons either...like the other day I was watching Bleach with a friend and he told me that Orihime is a girl! My god was I shocked. But what can you do...some surprises come at the most awkward of times...cute story though.
Haha! this brings back memories. I remember when I first found out that tweety was a boy. It was pretty surprising I gotta say. Well, after I found out, I told my aunt who is a tweety freak and she still denies it till today. lol
I always thought of Tweety as a boy...mainly because of his voice. It never really sounded like a girl to me. ^^

I thought he was a girl for the longest time......I think I found it he was a he the same way, him with a girl...but ya it can be hard to tell sometimes.

I thought Tweety was a girl too, but the WB did a special one Saturday, which cleared up the rumors of Tweety being a girl. It freaked me out, and all my friends and I could talk about for that Monday was how Tweety was a boy and how betrayed we felt. It was a sad day during fifth grade . . . I still watched the show though.
I can see how you'd be mislead looking back actually ^_^

I seriously thought tweety bird was a girl.... it even had long eyelashes and big blue eyes... i mean... it had to be a girl...guess not.
