Midori no Hibi manga licensed then saved
Well, all the memories they had together will be lost. Even if they made many more memories, none could ever be as unique as the ones when Midori was on Seiji's arm.I think the part where Ayase finally confessed properly was kinda unique. Kinda feel sorry for her though. The anime kinda screwed up the confession part. It was too...normal (the anime version). I love it when she was talking about her "friend's" crush while crying. She looked so submissive.
Thought the ending was great myself, like it was said before i think the anime series pretty much de-sensitized most of us to how the manga was destined to end heh. I thought the last 4 pages after Seiji confessed wrapped up the series perfectly; those scenes should have run full screen in the anime ED instead of in those tiny windows.Shame the series ended as abruptly as it did though, they could have strung that thing out forever had they wanted to.

Submissive huh? I see what kinda girls you like Dias, <!--emo&^_^--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='happy.gif' /><!--endemo-->;But yea, the memories they did share will be lost forever, but at least Seiji still remembers and there's even a written record of those memories so all is not a total lost. What really gets to me is that I want to see a sequel. I want to see how they live their lives. True, it may not be as bizarre or unique as when she was on his arm, but still, we're somewhat left in the dark as to how the REAL Midori is after waking up and confessing to Seiji. I think I can safely say that she isn't truly as straight-foward as she was when she was on his hand. Therefore, I wanna see how she acts towards him. Maybe some doujinshi will take care of this?Hell, they should fast-foward to when they marry. Hahah. Then that would TRULY wrap the series up. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
Nah...the highlight of MnH is when Midori is on Seiji's arm. To pursue a sequel manga would not be a good idea because it'd end up just like any other high school romance manga. As for girls, I prefer strong personality types but submissive ones ain't too shabby either. Just so long as the submissiveness ain't too submissive until she does all the things you ask her to. Aoi Sakuraba's (Ai Yori Aoshi) submissiveness sickens me.

LOL. Am I the only person intrigued as to why Midori would think her childhood friend (I forget his name) would be attracted to Seiji?
I still like the manga and anime. I hope they don't release a sequel because I like the cliffhanger ending. It lets me create the future of them in my mind.
