I don't know how to give a cripition to this manga,,I felt so nervous when I read the story,,,How do you think about it??
Nervous you said? Well, the idea of writing down names in a notebook which enables you to be able to kill them is a bit freaky. I felt the same way while reading the first chapter or so. But as you read on, the story progresses and gets so interesting that you don't even worry about the nervousness you feel. Well, at least that's what I think. If you read on and your nervousness doesn't go away, then maybe this isn't the type of manga for you...

Death Note? I've never heard of this manga. It does sound awfully creepy though. *shivers just from reading the title* Who is the author?

I think people will be interested in knowning that obata was the one who did hikaru no go with yumi, with him being the artist of the series. its a very intense manga with lots of thinking involved. lots of people read it, and is intrigued by the mind boggling thinking involved, and it is recommended to everyone.

Death Note is so good! It's a very intelligent manga, I think. The character development is great and ahh Raito, such a hot villain!

It's a wishful thinking. Having a notebook like that is like being in that show Charmed. They do vanished demons. Why not vanish bad people ^__^;
By the way Hikaro no Go is a completly diff genre to DeathNote. I applaude the creator for being able to make awesome transitions. Most mangakas would be stuck with 1 or 2 genres alone and find it hard to break that cycle.

Thanks for the info. ^^ Hmm, it sounds pretty cool. Maybe I'll look into it. *sigh* If only I didn't have such a vivid imagination. *probably reads something creepy and ends up imagining all kinds of wierd stuff at night*
I love these intricate plots twisting and turning. I read Death Note after reading Ichigo 100% and my taste in manga is usually for the comedic types. But Death Note sucked me into the story and after reading each chapter, I just wanted to continue reading on to the next... and the next... and the next...
