Hi!
This is my first attempt at making a wallpaper and I like it but I don't know it doesn't look right... Could you guys take a look before I submit it, maybe give me some comments for some final touches or something?

Kero Wallpaper
Twelve circles of four colors, over a black background. An inverted extracted LQ screenshot of Kero in one of them, and text.
Those elements aren't enough to make a wallpaper. I don't see any concept behind it, and the execution is poor. Taking into account the current wallpaper rules, it would be deleted on the spot.
"Bashing" aside... you need a concept, a theme, even if just a joke one, and then start working on the skills needed for it. If you just want to make a Kero wall as in a "hit the mole" game, for instance, you could start giving a try at vectoring - redrawing that Kero won't be too difficult, even for someone who has just started. The circles could give place to holes, and could be arranged in a less... boring way. Three lines of four circles simply doesn't work, after all. The black background could give place to a grassfield, a wooden surface, or something like that.
If you feel lost, seek a few tutorials and stuff. This board's sticky should be helpful for that.

As for the colour selection, it just won't do. Dark yellow, dark purple, dark blue and dark green all on a black background. It feels a bit too "way-off" for a wallpaper which should be more on the "happy and upbeat" side. Use brighter and cheery colours. Your current selection is too gloomy for a smiling Kero (which is in chronic need of vectoring).

The low quality of things doesn't help much, tbh. If you had a higher quality image of kero that was in his normal colours it would be better.
If you're going to use circles like that it's best to take that as your main design element. Circles would probably be best to act as containers for things - Iow, you want to locate your kero head fully within the circle. Also, your four letters K E are O would look quite good if they were each centred within a circle, amybe? You could randomise them, or just have them in the top four circles.
Another thing you could do is have "K" "E" "R" "O" in all of the circles on each row, but on the second row replace the O with KERO's head.
Colour selection is a bit off. You'd be better probably invering thw whole wall - white bg, Bright primary colours for circles - RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW, maybe.
Those are just a few simple things that would give massive improvements :).
