I loved it, too bad it was so short.
Loved it as well, though alot of the original fans didn't like it because it left out alot of things as well changing parts of the story...
Yea i watched it a while a go and really like it alot, but i agree it was way to short, the ending was bullocks, not enough character background explained, and there at least a couple of characters that i know about that seem to be missing, blue haired with long hair that wears a ribbion, and one other

It's a great series, but the anime suffers for being a little too short. i can see that almost everyone would agree on this.
I love this anime but sadly it was too short to savor though. But I do love the story and the animation too bad it was short lived ^^
What a interesting question XD
well um...to tell the true i watched it and maybe some of the people here
will think im crazy but i just hate the end.
and i really hate shiki,too...
and i saw that anime again and again to see if maybe im wrong...
but how i look at it its like that-
and like that i just well...not hate the anime but not love it either.

The anime is okay but the manga is pretty awesome. The animation was pretty nice in the series, and Arcueid was awesome.
I liked the anime, i saw it like half a year a go, when i saw the anime i star looking information about type moon, and i found fate stay night, and i like a lot this anime too, i think this studio is pretty good with animations
I have watched this anime, and now is one of my favourites; it's a vampire's anime, but it is completely different of what i seen before; its true that is short, but i think that's good, or else well have a lot of chapters with no conten, like naruto >_> great animation and great story; now that you guys mention im gonna look for the manga, and some other works of type-moon studio.

it has a nice story and artwork too.

The story left out a lot of things indeed. but i do not think that it's that bad. i liked the story all throughout and i enjoyed watching it.
mentioning the above, does the game have the complete story.
just an FYI for those who do not know yet: this anime was adapted from the game of the same name (not sure so correct me if i'm wrong) with melty blood as its sequel, both by Type Moon (makers of the game Fate/Stay Night). i would say that it will explain the empty gaps in the anime since this one is an h game (as you all know, dating sims tend to go through all possible scenarios, giving a complete character background as much as possible).
this actually made me wonder a lot since it is so short lived... i even thought that fate/stay night was the sequel since i watched that before tsukihime...

You're right.. but the game is just called "Tsukihime".
I wonder if Kagetsu Tohya counts as a sequel...

Your talking about Len/Ren she was only in the Tsukihime game and the girl I think your thining about is Sion from Melty Blood a fan based by French Bread
Most of the dislike for the anime comes from that the production company tried to cram what should have been a full 26-episode series into an OVA length anime. Many characters' motivations and stories go untold (Kohaku ;_;), simply because they didn't have the space to tell the story.
