The way you watched anime...
Well, i just want to know... are you guys watched anime that are download from website or buy DVD? well, i'm probably prefer 2 of them... because some of the anime are licensed and cannot be download... ^_^; so i'll go buy the DVD and watched it... so, how about you guys? which way did you guys prefer?

I'll purchase what anime I can if it's available here. Otherwise I do download it and then purchase it if it does get liscensed. Though, I haven't had enough money to go buy Chobits. I dled the series before it was liscenced. Now that it is I better get it. :)

There are always ways to download licensed animes through Bittorrent. But either ways.
I prefer downloading it mainly cause fansubbs in my opinion are a lot better than DVD subs. Sometime the DVD subs are way too literal if you get what I'm saying. I dont really know how to say that any other way.
Fansubs also do little side notes which i love. And sometime I agree with the fansubs subtitles more than I do with some DVD subs.
I mainly only buy dvd's when I really like the series. But other than that there is no real reason to buying dvd's over downloading the animes unless you dont have high speed internet

I've only recently recieved access to an internet connection fast enough to download so i've been doing a lot of that lately. I used to only buy anime but now i've been downloading anime that isn't licensed yet. Even though i've been downloading anime i still buy anime, I prefer to have the actual dvds once they're licensed
I download, and buy. I check the series out usually fansubbed and if I like it enough I try to purchase it when it becomes released here but it's so expensive that I wait for the boxed sets which are much cheaper.
Honestly, if i hear a series that is currently being aired in japan at the moment that is pretty cool, i download it.
but when it comes to any anime series from the past that i love watching, for me, i have to actually buy and own the series on dvd. i find it more satisfying having and owning the actual authentic product rather than bootleg/fansubs/etc on my computer or whatever.
and if i like whatever it is i download, when it comes over to dvd i try to get it right away so i can add it to my collection of anime vhs or dvds

I download most of my anime, mostly because it's free of charge. I prefer the fansub version. And usually, I don't like to buy things just to watch it once and put it away until I feel like watching it again.
I download my anime, i dont know where to buy it, but like ak47 said if i did buy anime i wouldnt be watching it all the time, so i prefer downloading
I usually download now & if i like the series enough, ill buy the japanese dvd. but i buy some dvds.
Neither, I watch it on TV, or rent it. Free rentals are fun. That and I have dial-up, so downloading is out of the question, and I am too cheap to buy anime.

I mostly , well , actually all the anime that i´ve seen its the series that i´ve download . But its becuase , here in this city the percentage of people who know about it its about 0.2 % including me . And there isn´t a store where you can go and buy all the new releases or the old ones , . . .
The only thing near to that its Wal - Mart , there i can at least buy the New Type magazine and watch some trailers and see whats going on .

Well I've only just started downloading episodes, and I really like it. But it's better to buy I guess, anything that works for you.
Download. I'll buy when it's cheap.
