It's been over 4 years, and there still hasn't been a continuation of the Descendants of Darkness (Yami no Matsuei) manga! Does anyone here know if there's EVER going to be more? It definitely did not end at volume 11! Why won't the mangaka, Yoko Matsushita, continue writing? I hope that she picks up that pen and starts drawing again soon...I miss Tsuzuki. T__T

Last year or so, Matsushita draw a couple of short stories, kinda like an extra about Oriya and there were heavy rumours about YnM being continued last summer but... nothing came at all.
It's a pity, because I liked where the story was headed in the last volumes, and she didn't even stop at some kind of end, even temporary, but just in the middle of an arc...

Really? Some extras? I didn't know that, and yes, I think I heard that rumor...it's quite a shame. :( I agree! There was no conclusion whatsoever! What's going to happen next?! Seriously. Thanks for your reply. Let's hope Matsushita gets back on it because we fans have been waiting for years.

The manga went on hiatus (on a cliffhanger, no less) in 2003, then 3 side stories, then nothing. I don't really expect an explanation, as it doesn't really matter why it's in limbo. Not to me, if only because it doesn't change anything. (I've had several series I care about end without any satisfying story conclusion, and I may be getting used to it on some level. This is not a happy thought, is is.) It's quite disappointing that we're unlikely to at least resolve the Gensoukai arc.

Arigatou. I'm still disappointed though. It's not like she just went on hiatus after a conclusion...it was in the middle of a storyline. :( I always like knowing the "why" behind things, so yeah. ^^; Thanks for the link to the side stories though! :3
