It was just recently that I chanced upon Visual Kei and I do have
to say that I find them quite fascinating. It's just something too
different for my tastes thats why I sort of got hooked into the
genre. It all started when I started listening to The Gazette,
and the first songs I heard were "Filth in the Beauty" and "Chizuru"..
So from there, it started going on to bands like Versailles, An Cafe
and Malice Mizer, and I'm so loving it now.
I was just curious if there are any other Visual Kei listeners in the
boards so just post your fave VK songs and bands here...
*NOTE: Versailles so owns!! Teru is love!! Hizaki is love!! Kawaii!!

There's of course, Miyavi. HIs vocals always get throughto me xD
And I love An Cafe, butI've always prefereed their old stuff to the new ones. My favourite by them would be Super Rabbit.
Ooh, there's also Alice Nine! I'd recommend Kousai Stripe and Velvet by them.

I love the old school Dir en Grey.
They kinda have toned down their look since they are marketing to America, but the music is still pretty awesome.
Cage is one of my all time fave songs by them.
Who else, An Cafe was amazing but now that Bou is gone I haven't listened to them lately and I have to agree their old stuff is better than the new.
Dunno if VK is the appropriate term, but Acid Black Cherry is really awesome, but they kinda look a bit more mainstream J Rock than VK.

Old diru was great. When they were visual kei still. Cage is a good song... toshiya's bass solo is so awsome!
I also stopped listening to An cafe when Bou left. I was so heartbroken.
I 've been planning on listening to more of Acid Black Cherry, I've been obsessed with merry lately
I used to be a big fan of Visual Kei but all the bands I really liked disbanded, or just... dissapeared. And I'm not very fond of the new groups that have been coming to the scene these years. They are very cute and so on but their music, and specially their singers are mediocre at best (i hope nobody will feel offended by this).
The only vk band that I like and still keeps going is Kagrra, although the singing style of their vocalist changed since their indies days...
