I quit about a year ago(75whm/smn 75rdm/blk 70blm) and suddenly got the urge to play again. Re-installed, which took forever and then I finally realized that my characters would probably be gone. Sure enough when I log in no characters. No biggie, I'll just see if there is anyone I know from back in the days. Not a single person (I liked at least) I knew still played the game. Most of them moved to eq2 or wow.
Dunno if I can keep up with the grind, but it sure is a friendly community. Currently on Quetzalcoatl Hume Gunki 20rdm/blk. Found one good friend that still plays and we both started over again after quitting, but she's level 30 >_<.

I have it on PS2 but i quit playing because of the school, no time left to play, maybe someday i will start a new character.

I used to play. Sadly those cost and the fact of no Job killed me. (man, that $13 a month really gets ya, doesn't it?) I only used one character though, lvl 56 Tarutaru redmage/blackmage. Sadly I know by now my character is gone. All those hours put into it are gone.

Hell no, this game is the biggest disgraces to the final fantasy series ever, and why the hell did they name it 11, tactics better game, no number, x2 better game no 11, well i can understand that one, dirge of cerbus, they should have just named it final fantasy online, and then call 12 ll, well thats what i do anyway

I know he's not one of my circle, and I couldn't have played with him as his character is on Carbuncle, so I'm curious if this is someone from here.
I accepted the invite, btw. But I haven't been back on since I installed the game on my 360.
Plus, I'm not done with FFXII yet, I don't want any additional distractions just yet. ^^

Wow...have you even PLAYED the game?
Sure it has it's faults, not bad for a first endevour, but it in no way disgraces the FF name. If anything, Dierge of Cerbus and X-2 shame the name more so than anything else. Everyone knows that having sequels is not a good thing, most of the time, sequels kill series instead of helping them.

I did. Moved on to WoW, but i dont have time for MMORPG anymore
I used to play on diabolos, had a 60DRG, and a 57WAR that I played for a little more than a year. My friends and I made a semi static from 50-60 with one being a NIN, and the other a BLM. I had a lot of fun, got full AF on my DRG, but I don't think I'll be playing ever again. Good luck to anyone who still plays, or plans on playing, its a good game if you have the time to play.
I quit just recently, i was Noxx on Bismarck (75WHM, 73BRD). It was a fun game, the community was much better than the game itself however.

I played FFXI only for a short time (Had a 20 something black mage) . I was playing EQOA at the same time and just lost intrest in FFXI in favore of EQOA.
