Got DS?
Just wondering if anyone else here picked one up. I wasn't one of the guys that was waiting at the store when it opened, but I got mine the same day. It's pretty neat. I'm thinking about getting the DS, but I don't see any games out right now that interest me to warrant a purchase. On the other hand, I'm more excited about the Sony PSP.

Personally for me i choose not to get that i think that it is stupid because not only does it cost alot. But the games are way expensive.
My friend got his DS, and even as a huge nintendo girl, i was really skepticle about the whole thing.but when i played with his i was like..."dude...this thing is way awesome" i played a couple games. the mario one, and the metroid demo. the metroid demo, you use the touch screen to aim, which i was a little "eh" about until i found out you can customize it so you don't have to use the touch screen.it's actually really awesome, and i can see holding off for better games to come out, but i'll probably be getting one soon.then again, i don't have a gameboy advance, and theres some games i wanna play for the GBA, and so i might as well buy the new one.when the PSP comes out, i'll hafta try it before i buy it, like with the DS. and if i had to chose between the 2, i'd chose the DS. i mean...nintendo = zelda. need i say more?-huge zelda junkie-

I bought my DS a few days ago. Its great I love it. I really love the touch screen.I am excited about the PSP but I love the DS. I just got my Import PSP and the battery life really really sucks. While the DS has great battery life, and for handhelds that's really what it comes down.

I'd buy a PS2 over a DSand if i had extra money i'd go for the PSP.

I ask because Sony controllers are notorious for sucking in 2D games (vs. Sega controllers; Nintendo has put out some bad d-pads lately). I was kinda hoping they'd have gone with the (rumored) joystick design, but ahh well.

It sucks! Three hours for a game is not worth your time. Until they fix that, I would hold off on getting one. But I don't think they will.
I'll get one as soon there a game worth playing on it. The games out right now are not what I am looking for.

I haven't gotta one yet, and I'm thinking about getting one. Though I'm not really sure yet.
Well I played one the other day. It doesn't feel as robust as I expected but that didn't detract from gameplay. Those touchscreen mini games on Mario 64 DS are really funny XD
