I didn't like SF until I played SF3:3S.I've always thought their characters were horribly stupid (I admit, SF character designs, after SFA3, were all stupid)...Agreed that SNK characters are better and more fun to play with. But SNK games, especially the KOF series, have some serious tier problems.Iori is ALWAYS #1, Kyo, Yuri, Choi, Leona, and Clark usually follow close behind.I've never seen a good K9999 (one of my personal faves), Robert, Kensou, or any of those lesser characters at a real tourney.KOF is a tactical fighter, though.

I agree whit you S_X XD.One of the thing I frogot to metion is the EX character.All character can have different set of move. Some time people are bad whit some character but in EX they become good whit it. In the end they become heven better whit the normal. <-- tha hapen to some of my frend.

I have it on PS2. but most of the time I play GGXX at a anime club where there is lots of good player. it's fun to always have new chalenge. One of the best player there is, is a AXL and Potemkin user. I am good but I do not practice. so I usally get beaten fast

Does anyone know where I can find the first game, Guilty Gear? Does anyone here even have it? When I got Guilty Gear X back in 2001 I didn't even know that it was already actually a sequel to Guilty Gear. Even though the game is out dated, I want it for the sake of having it.

It came out for PSX.. i guess you could scope around your local EB/gamestop and see if they have it. otehrwise you'll probably have to ebay.

Eh i dont think its better than SNK games, or capcomits just that... you press a few buttons and your character does flashy moves and people go "WOW YAY"you can combo into anything with any button its akward, i still think street fighter 3 third strike is second best next to alpha 3and it IS balanced, you just have to learn how to play, the parrying system makes this balance well so learn how to parry and you wont have a problem with anyone except Gill of courseITS ALL ABOUT DAIGO! parry king

Daigo can't parry Hugo's throws very well ^_~Tal, GGXX does require a very large amount of skill to play right.Sure, you can pull off a "flashy" combo fairly easily compared to SNK or Capcom games, but flashy in this game is defined to be at least a 20-hit air combo that lasts 7 seconds or more <!--emo&:P--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I pulled a 20 hit combo in the air with milliai pressed weak punch (slash? i duno whatever they call it lol) and kept jumping =Pwasnt exactly a... pretty combo considering all i did was jump and punch lol but still =\not saying its a bad game, but its definatly a different one ;pXBOX LIVE!!! I have to agree that Guilty Gear Isuka was enjoyable, but it just wasn't as good as Guilty Gear XX. I'm glad the designers decided to experiment, but I hope they either go in a different direction or refine the concept better for the next game. Also, I demand more over-the-top designs like Leopaldon in future games.
