This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

One of the Dragonball Z Budakai games was good, but I can't remember if it was 2 or 3. Gundam Federation vs. Zeon was also quite good due to it's campagain mode. Too bad they didn't do a good job with Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam.

.Hack//Sign is pretty solid gaming. And although it's not based on any real anime, a lot of people consider Xenosaga an anime game. However, if you hate RPGs, then you won't like either of these games. Also, Xenosaga has a billion super long cutscenes. It's not for the impatient type.

I thought a anime game is a game based off a anime. Xenosaga the game was made before the anime so it not a anime game. Don't know why people would consider it to be one.

I don't know why either. Maybe because it's really cinematic and the characters are anime-style?

My personal view is that you play anime games because you love the anime. I played Naruto 2 & 3 on the GC because it was cool playing as Sasuke. Playing Bleach 2 on the PSP was pretty fun. Hitsugaya is one of my favorite characters so it was cool taking down Byakuya. On the other hand, the games were simple and not what I call a real top quality videogame. When comparing anime games to the top quality videogames in it's class, they're barely above average. Once in a "blue moon" you'll get a good anime game that might get a 7 or 8 out of 10.

Heck, any game that has Japanese animated characters is what I consider to be anime. Like Final Fantasy, or Harvest Moon, or even Kingdom Hearts. THOSE are the greatest games in the world^^ ^^

I was a fan of Inuyasha for a while so i bought the RPG game for it. I was so siked to try it too!
When i did play it...it was CRAP! Dubbing was bad, graphics were terrible, and sound affects...oh dont get me started!

Duh! games that are based of hit anime shows are "apart for being anime which gives them a bit of coolness" exactly the same as european games that are made off of movies like tarzan and the enter the matrix and all all those crap things so just dont ever buy a game based on a program for movie its that simple. let some other fool do it and if it is good (like the 1% that are) buy it lol

Some anime games don't suck, and they can be pretty surprising:

-Macross (PS2). It looks like shit, but the gameplay is great.

-Robotech Battlecry. Oh man, I still love this game. A must-have for all the Robotech fans. It looks good, it has an incredible soundtrack (including some remixes of classic themes) and it's overall fun (and hard).

-Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3. Probably the best anime-based fighting game so far.
