This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Hi everyone! I'm just curious as to what games you guys think have excellent, intriguing storylines.

I have many to name concerning this:

1. Metal Gear Solid/MGS Twin Snakes- A fabulously well done story plot with enough twist and turns to keep you thinking. I think the story behind Gray Fox is simply the best character backgrounds to ever be created. Very poignant and it moved me close to tears.

2. Xenosaga series/Xenogears- One of the few most complex yet interesting, plot-driven games existing today. There are a lot of secrets surrounding each individual character. It'll really keep you thinking.

3. FF7- A lot of hidden secrets, intriguing character backgrounds, and a load of twist and turns, Plus, it has one of the sweetest love stories ever to be integrated into a game plot.

4. Chrono Cross- Intricate storyline that keeps you wondering just what is going on. A deep, poignant relationship develop between certain characters.

5. FF8- Okay, maybe not the best story plot, but it's a love story. I'm a girl, I can't resist love stories. Sorry. *bow*

6. Dead or Alive- The story concerning Ayane and Kasumi's torn sisterly relationship is nice. Poor Ayane-channie!

7. Metal Gear Solid 3- Haven't finished the game yet. I like where the story is heading though.

Okay, my fingers are getting tired. So, that's it for now. Please share your opinions, guys and girls. I wanna hear them...or rather "read" them. Please list reasons too, if you don't mind.

See ya later!

Yay!! *big smile* You like FF8, too?! I'm so happy. Not many people did because they cmplain about the battle system and the lame love story. -_-; Yes, Xenosaga is very complex. KOS-MOS, Shion, and Jr are so cool! Every played Xenogears? The story plot in that game is even more complex than Xenosaga.

I know I'm being overtechnical here, but there's no such thing as "Metal Gear 3." I know you meant MGS3, but so many people think Metal Gear Solid is the first Metal gear game, and it's not. Hell, MGS even has video clips from Metal Gear 1 & 2.

FF7... *sigh* I give up. I've already posted my thoughts on this board a handful of times.

Games that I think fit the bill? Let's see. Snatcher, Vagrant Story, FFT (not the GBA version), Suikoden II... there's plenty to list, but I'll leave it at that.

Hmm, sorry, missed the word "solid" there. ^^;; Good thing you pointed that out. Vagrant story..it had a great storyline line, but I couldn't really get into it.

I think the best storylines ever was Metal Gear Solid. The third game wasn't so bad either but I liked the first one better. It had a great main character and the change of the story in the end of the game is fantastic.

Yeah, Xenosaga also had a great story, a very complex story. It was actually the only thing that kept me playing the game.

MGS, by far one of the most compelling storys I've ever had the joy to play on my Playstation. Final Fantasy Tatics had a great story, but the end kind of.. well, for lack of a better word sucked, but the build up to the end was engrossying.

Hellooo what bout zelda?
while it runs along the same theme with every game, "save zelda, save hyrule, destroy ganon/other evil guy" (with the exception of majoras mask) they make story after story that draws you in.
windwaker, for example, really did that well. with it not really being link, and not really being hyrule (those who played the game know what i mean) and the way that it all developed and a whole new world was opened up in the game.
and personally, i really loved the story for star ocean. yeah, the actual direction sucked. yeah, the voice acting sucked. but the story alone, was actually really well done, and to me, very interesting. screwing with the concepts of reality and what it is to US.
i havn't played xenosaga, but i heard it sucked. xenogears i heard was good though.
working on FFVII (god the graphics are murder)

and hwta better story is there than katamari damacy! rght? guys? anyone?
it was the lack of story that made the whole game awesome. had it all made sense, it wouldn't have been so cool lol

oh, and kingdom hearts. awesome game, and unique concept and use of disney characters.

I am addicted to RPG games..
In FF, like FF7 & FF9, I think the story is great and the characters rockzzz!
FFIX and X are also good but I got bored in some scenes...

Chrono Cross - a lot of diff. characters that you can have, quite challenging.

Kingdom Hearts - just love Goofy and Donald!! I like the idea that they include disney char.

Xenogears - yah, this game is quite hard in some battles...
The story is also great but in disc 2, a lot of cut scenes and I felt sleepy. But all in all, Its a great game.

In action, I like devil may cry...but for me, its hard to play... (sigh)
